Reservation, as in right in the beginning when the Model 3 was announced in 2016 you could place down $1500 for a spot in the queue in store. You then got a reservation number which is now the same as an order number, mine is very low its R10005XXXX, that has been with Tesla since 2016.Wait I dont think we are talking about the same thing. What have you reserved in 2016?
Don't want to sound critical, but that report is 7 months old. Regardless, the double glazing could be a benefit for more than sound enhancements. In other news - maybe the production line updates mentioned by Veda will be worth a potential delay?

Double glazed glass in rear? Might be pleasant.
Along with Morning Crystal, you might want to checkout Viking Passama as well. Both had stops in Shanghai and has a decent loading as well.Right now there are two ships [M.Crystal (maybe tesla ) & Parsifal (non tesla) unloading at Brisbane. Port BNE has limited capacity for cars, whilst Kembla has capaciry for MANY more. I've observed 3 ROROs at same time at Kembla, whilst 2 at BNE stretches capacity. Unloading in Brisbane depends on capacity and maybe available customs staff.
He's just working on his Business plan.I’m a bit disappointed that Hoopy hasn’t got a vin yet. He was pretty good when I first joined, but as time went on he became more disillusioned with the process. I hope he gets a vin in this batch
Yeah. currently due to dock at Pt Kembla, after a visit to BNE. could be source of vehicles subject to vin allocations.Along with Morning Crystal, you might want to checkout Viking Passama as well. Both had stops in Shanghai and has a decent loading as well.
Got my VIN and payment request - MY SR white interior ordered at 10:30 on launch day! Wooohoo!!I think a few Australian Model Y orders are being assigned VINs.
I would ask your Sales Advisor. When did you place the order? If recently I wouldn't be too concerned as you're likely a way off getting a VIN. If you placed Nov/Dec/Jan I think it could impact things if a VIN allocation is close for you.Dumb question - I am yet to fill out the "Registration" section in the task as I need to sort out a few things first for the driver's license. Would this delay my vin allocation or delivery?
Congrats! That's great news. I think yesterday was allocations for M3 and today is Model Y.Got my VIN and payment request - MY SR white interior ordered at 10:30 on launch day! Wooohoo!!
Thank You! I’m sure you’ll get your VIN allocations very soon along with everyone’s who waiting!Congrats! That's great news. I think yesterday was allocations for M3 and today is Model Y.
Tomorrow might be back to Model 3 allocations. Well at least I hope.

My missus, thinks this chat is all hot air. her attitude: "just wait- it'll come"No VIN here, 12/1 Red/black... for a moment, I had hopes... oh well... patience is a virtue... though the missus thinks this whole endeavour is a red herring and nothing is ever going to show up... be nice when I can prove her wrong and take her for a spin..
Sounds just like my wife. “It will arrive when it gets here”My missus, thinks this chat is all hot air. her attitude: "just wait- it'll come"
