When they give you the "final invoice" does that mean it has to be paid or start being paid a certain amount of time before picking up the vehicle? Or can you wait until a few days (funds are to be cleared 48 hours before pick up, I think)?
I see people are getting the invoice before the VIN and well before delivery. I want to hold onto my money as long as possible before pick up. I also don't want to delay delivery if I delay payment.

My SA stated that payment is required before delivery. I will wait until my vehicle is scheduled for pickup, before transferring any money.

Still not sure about the radar thing or the fact that my order agreement says dual-motor, but the VIN document says 1 cylinder/rotor... But I assume everyone is in the same boat and it has to do with the cutbacks they made to fulfill orders

You have a bigger better faster computer in there now which uses more power so slight range reduction.
Should be in the order of 12km on a full charge.

Wild Guess:

Viking Passama and Morning Crystal will be the last shipments of Tesla's for Q3?

Viking Passama = almost entirely Model 3 stock?
Morning Crystal = almost entirely Model Y stock?

My thinking was:

- Model 3 VIN's are getting allocated now, so they must be getting ready for another shipment leaving very soon.
- Model 3 production line closes for ~2 weeks. When it re-opens it will be considered mid/late in the quarter which is apparently when the factory switches to domestic production.

- Model Y production restarted today, it gives them a week to get a final Australia production run done.
- The next ship after Morning Crystal that arrives in Shanghai is the Paglia on August 14th, which seems too late in the quarter to be shipping Tesla's to Australia and having stock delivered to customers by October?
