This is a normal message. They test the SMS system. They want to handle rejections now rather than at delivery smsI've just received a text "Your Model 3 delivery is approaching..." Sydney RWD order with EDD 15 Dec onwards.
Looking at all the shipments and getting way to involved refreshing port schedules, I really have no idea what ship my car is on and any dock unloading delays, etc. Very excited to get an update tho, we're in the home stretch.
Where can you check the registration? No, not quite. I'm sure yours won't be too far behind now though.
My car is showing as registered now. Looks like they don't register it until just before the truck picks it up for regional deliveries.
Veda tweeted today confirming Cherry is carrying cars.Any idea what morning cherry could be carrying. It’s currently docked at Melbourne. Mine is build date of 13 Nov, Vanilla RWD from Melbourne.
Yes. I tweeted today about both Cherry and Immacolata arrivingVeda tweeted today confirming Cherry is carrying cars.
Checked my account this morning and it's showing there.Nice! Very exciting. I've seen it takes 24hrs to reflect on your account.
You can check your rego expiry online by VIN in QLD. That doesn't appear to be an option in WA; only plate number there.Where can you check the registration?
My beginner sleuthing can’t find when MSC Immacolata docks in Port Kembla. Can the brains trust find it’s ETA….??Do you the arrival date of MSC at Sydney?
Yup. Same here. Got an email though asking for me to finalise payment but they still haven't sent me the invoice for it all yet. Reached out to my SA and he said he would look into it for me.I think it was just a blanket SMS somehow.. because they talk about payment and the likes but I still don't have a final invoice! haha
Actually, VK left from Shanghai on 30/11, but it will arrive after the MSC. I just checked the information on website, VK will arrive on 22/12 at PK and leave to Mel on 23/12. Sounds like people could get the Xmas gift at Sydney. My beginner sleuthing can’t find when MSC Immacolata docks in Port Kembla. Can the brains trust find it’s ETA….??
That’s my bet for our cars that were built end of Nov, to meet our QLD, NSW, ACT delivery frame 2nd half of Dec. (Immacolata left Shanghai 1 Dec, Passama was a few days after)
Viking Passama doesn’t arrive in QLD til end of this week and 22 Dec for PK, with unloading, public holidays etc, I deduce NSW/ACT wont see cars until NY from Passama.
But based on the recent blanket message (your delivery date is approaching, expect mid-Dec to mid-Jan) they are the ships to watch for Nov build East Coastdeliveries
how'd you score an ETA? Are most Brisbaners with VINs still TBD?Checked my account this morning and it's showing there.
I called CBA and waived the limit for 24hrs then transferred the whole lot at one go through commbank appMy daily transfer limit is 20k (Commonwealth bank). Anyone else have this problem? I was thinking if I could transfer from different accounts, is that allowed? anyone else try that?
If you go into a branch they can transfer it for you in one go, normally a fee though, around $30.My daily transfer limit is 20k (Commonwealth bank). Anyone else have this problem? I was thinking if I could transfer from different accounts, is that allowed? anyone else try that?
According to the Port information in Brisbane, the Viking Passama doesn't appear to be staying long at all, potentially a port stop to then keep going to PK ?View attachment 884175
Oh bugger. MSC isn’t due to depart Brisbane until 17 Dec. Viking Passama and MSC Immacolata might be hooning it down the coast, in a race to PK. And by hooning I mean taking its sweet a*** time cos that’s what they seem to do
Would it be fair to say that if you haven't received a VIN yet that your car is definitely not on that ship?
If you have no hidden vin, it means your car is not built yetWould it be fair to say that if you haven't received a VIN yet that your car is definitely not on that ship?
Also, does anyone know how long it typically takes from when a VIN is received to delivery?
Sorry if these are dumb questions I rarely go on this forum.
