Got a call from Tesla today. I was told the car would be ready for delivery by end of next week.
Nice, I am checking my phone every hour for any messages from Tesla
I think now its all about how many cars can be moved from port to delivery centre and how fast they can be moved. Hoping to get a delivery booking SMS anytime this week
Yes i did yeserday evening around 6pm...picking up MYRWD on 26th Sept...My order date was 11th July..Ship was Glovis Caravel
#methree I ordered 22 July, still no VIN, still no updated delivery date from "July-Sept". I also don't have a car now so I'm starting to wonder if I should try and get one of the existing inventory from Sydney or something. Has anyone else done this??
Yes i was by Tesla Staff that Mulgrave is the only centre till 30th Sept atleast
You should be able to. They told me they are planning to deliver all the cars by end of financial year so they are working so hard to get the schedules out asap. You should get the sms today or tomorrow.Lucky you! I am still waiting to hear from Tesla Mulgrave for my delivery date, i hope i can pick it up next week too!
and hopefully only have to buy fuel less than once per month in the other fossil!They won't do it. Each state has its allocation. And that's all there is too it. I asked the same question as Vic. Gold Coast. Tas. Even act had the EXACT car I wanted but nup. Each state gets its allocation and I was strictly told you need proof of address to buy there car.
So if you got a registered parking address in a other state they will sell it to you. Then you need to get it reregistered etc.
Just wait it will come. Seems like it is taking forever. I ordered 30 Jun. I got 28th September pick up date. 4 months...
I finally got the text today already to schedule delivery! Pick up on the 30th Sept
That was the earliest available date, i could have picked it up tomorrow. HahaThere is a potential financial sting in the tail for NSW EV buyers who register their Ev (whatever brand it is) for the first time from 01 Jan 2024.
