Provided your invoice has a 2023 date, you can claim the rebate. If it arrives in the new year, will we have to pay stamp duty??

The car keeps the low voltage battery topped up from the HV battery. It's not a problem (and even if it were, the low voltage battery is covered by the normal vehicle warranty).A Model Y owner raised another concern to me - The 16V battery in the model Y is not going to like being unplugged for this long. Anyone know if this is a valid concern and if so how we can check if its going to be a problem?
No, they'll go for months assuming they had they charged up pretty well to begin with. All the EV in that ship probably run out of battery by now.
Were you able to find out about going over the 1500km? With all the delays we will likely go over alsoWith the Glovis Caravel delays, I’m getting very close to the 1500km threshold on tradein kilometres post receiving the offer.
I’ll ask Tesla tomorrow, but has anyone gone over the 1500km and had the tradein value reassessed, or has it been ok?
Thanks.
Great thank you - one less thing to worry aboutThe car keeps the low voltage battery topped up from the HV battery. It's not a problem (and even if it were, the low voltage battery is covered by the normal vehicle warranty).
No as long as you ordered or final invoice issued before 31st Dec, no stamp dutyIf it arrives in the new year, will we have to pay stamp duty??
Same, mine changed this morning.
maybe this one!I had a chat with Tesla today and apparently the GC commotion was all caused by 1 car specifically that had a bug in it. They said that we would most likely get the cars by the end of December.

I was so sick of the GC and it’s lack of movement, just sitting off the coast of Brissy collecting barnacles for the last month that I decided to phone Tesla to see if they had any further information. They didn’t. I then asked if they could source me another MYP in my spec and was told to leave it with them and they’ll call back later today.
They did, and it looks like there’s one in inventory. So I booked that one up, lost my original deposit and have been told it should be available for delivery within 2 weeks. The kicker is that there is a sale on inventory stock so it’ll come in $5k cheaper too
Looks like it finishes unloading in Brisbane 4am tomorrow morning, so any fellow SEQ’rs should likely be contacted in the next few days.Don Juan Y's when? Me want Tesla
100% it's my car. I have that kind of luck.I had a chat with Tesla today and apparently the GC commotion was all caused by 1 car specifically that had a bug in it. They said that we would most likely get the cars by the end of December.
I was gonna say as I was catching up on the posts I’ll put $5 on that the car was @Winnieblue s car..100% it's my car. I have that kind of luck.
All this because if one car! just eject that one while circling in the ocean pleaseI had a chat with Tesla today and apparently the GC commotion was all caused by 1 car specifically that had a bug in it. They said that we would most likely get the cars by the end of December.
Oh of course it will be! How convenient getting the car at end of the year when everything shuts down. How they expect people on NL to pay for it?My finance company closed from 22 Dec to 2 Jan. Betting car will be final just as they close :/
Yes - I need to inform them if I go over 1,500km and they’ll inform their trade in team. It may or may not result in a requote. Were you able to find out about going over the 1500km? With all the delays we will likely go over also
With all this time I was able to sell my car privately for double the trade-in offer.Yes - I need to inform them if I go over 1,500km and they’ll inform their trade in team. It may or may not result in a requote.
The bigger issue with today’s additional delays is now going to be the 60 days.
