I think a great # of us can still edit, which tells me that there hasn't been a ton of AWD production yet.
I changed my order 3 weeks ago by calling. Did not have an edit button. They tried to direct me to edit button by clicking on trade in but that option was no longer listed since I specified no trade in. They made the change but “had to check on something first”. We ere changing to 19 inch performance wheels. They made the change (I had the impression she was checking to see if vin assigned already. Turns out they are not making cars to order but rather batching production and shipping. They then assign vin and car to buyer in location car is going. Sure enough I got a call 5 days later that my car was due to arrive within days but it was the 18 inch wheel original order. The change had not yet caught up. I asked but they couldn’t change wheels at service center so they assigned car to someone else. Today I got call (10 days after I they reassigned the first one, telling my car would be ready for delivery in 6 days. So if you have trouble finding edit button, you can always call. Be sure to get reference number of change just in case it doesn’t catch up with original number. Should also ignore 2-4 month delivery notice, everyone gets that really only applies to new orders not prior reservations. Good luck, we already have rear wheel drive and love it can’t wait to try AWD

I reserved on 3/28/2018 and getting mine by end of the week, granted current owner and in california. So there is not only reservation date, but other factors. 10K AWD registered, so any time now.

Not that easy. I got a cal saying my car is part of the batch that needs to get inspected for something. So I was told next week I will find out when I can pick it up and/or if I get new VIN. Of course my Loan started today, so pre-paying. sigh, at least Tesla called not hours before actual delivery time.

Non-P AWD, MSM and EAP delivered this afternoon in Portland, OR. VIN #54xxx. Non-owner, line waiter. They delivered to our house. The delivery specialist, Kyle, said that it was part of a trial program. Paperwork was a breeze (Tesla financing), took about ten minutes and then the DS took twenty minutes to walk us through the app and show us the car's features. Great guy and terrific process. It's been a long wait, and this felt like a fitting, celebratory end to it. Btw the way, the car is spooky fast when you hit the accelerator! Can't wait to to get back in it to drive...

Just to double check, is this where a bunch of us are stuck right now? Gray dots and all? (RN removed).

Saw that one screen with yellow dots that someone else posted, not sure what is going on there.

I'm guessing you went FSD and black interior since we have the same purchase price but I have the white interior and sport rims @ $62k lol

Looks really good, color of the car matches your dogs :) Spooky fast? From what car are you coming from to have a frame of reference?

@NAT3 I don't suppose we could get you to post some 0-60 times for those of us that still have an edit button and are debating between the P3D and the standard dual motor?

when i doubt, there is no doubt. Are you hoping AWD is faster than 4.5 0-60? Likely you hear this form everybody, if you got the money get Performance and maybe skip EAP and FSD as those can be added later, but not Performance

Do you have a dual motor badge on the back. I've heard rumors that they are no longer putting badges on non P dual motor cars?

My understanding is one can edit their order right up until it is assigned a VIN. Also, in talking to Tesla, because delivery advisors are so overwhelmed it may be that your notification of VIN assignment may be a week or more after VIN assignment. He suggested I call every week to check. I think I'll call once or twice a month instead. I still don't see how the math works on this. 420,000 reservations. About half are for SR so 210,000 for LR. I'd guess most RWDs have been delivered so, approx 100,000 AWD. At 5,000/wk that's 20 weeks or 5 months. Frankly, I hope I am wrong. I reserved Sept 3 last year. LR, AWD, PUP, FSD, Aero.
