Same here. I'm scheduled for a delivery on Monday Sept 24 at 10am. I have heard nothing, no email, no call, no vin, no car, no delivery specialist.

Wait .. wait.. Elon moved all the employees from sales, office, admin, delivery centers to Fremont to support the assembly line and now he is moving them all back to deliver the cars and many may be driving and delivering all day, all week long till mid-night of Sept 30th. Transitioning will happen to support the "new hell" as old hell is not an issue any more with over production/over supply. If someone is waiting for M3 today, it is not due to lack of production and it's primarily due to logistics night mare to match and deliver. All our cars are sitting and collecting dust somewhere.

What time on 9/24? I’m scheduled to pickup at 4 in Highland Park, but not feeling as confident that it’ll happen as I’m still waiting on VIN and couple other pieces of information.

Out of curiosity, when did you get assigned VIN?

I'm scheduled to take delivery the morning of 9/24. My VIN was assigned yesterday (9/18) sometime between 3pm and 6pm.

I won't be surprised if the delivery is delayed due to all the logistical issues they've been experiencing. I'm certainly not complaining. I'm thrilled to be getting my M3 before the snow flies.

voip-ninja, thanks for filling in for the_danimal!

I have my pre-approval but they are looking for the MPVA final price sheet from Tesla before they finalize. For those of you who have gotten your loan information finalized, when did you get the MPVA final price sheet?
I just got mine two days prior to scheduled delivery. If you haven't already, you might try giving them the order agreement document. In my non-banker/lawyer position, it seems like that covers the same thing, just minus the VIN.

Received my VIN of 086XXX this morning. Shows on my Order Summary page right below my RN #. MVPA has not been updated yet. "VIN" bubble is now checked under my overview. Delivery scheduled for 9/22.

Quick update for those wondering the timing of certain events:
9/6 Delivery email (scheduled for 9/22)
9/18 VIN assigned
9/19 Final MVPA in account

Will be picking up vehicle at a delivery center. Account asking for final payment to be made prior to delivery, but I confirmed that I can pay at delivery (including by personal check).

Also I can still add FSD for the $3,000 price up until delivery. Would require a new final MVPA though.

Good to know. I also received the Delivery email 9/6 (scheduled for 9/24). From your post, I should expect the VIN to be assigned Friday 9/21. We shall see {fingers crossed}.

I'm scheduled for a delivery on Saturday Sept 22. I have heard nothing, no email, no call, no VIN, no car, no delivery specialist.

But I've called a few times and the person I talk to says this is normal.

And just got the dreaded call. "Logistics issues" and delivery delayed from the 22nd to the 28th. Interesting that they only had dates then or the 29th, will have to take a day off from work. Anything past the first of the month I was told I'd have to get in contact with the advisor. Delivery hell begins for me...

Was told my VIN stays with me but that it will disappear until 7 days before that date (it's already gone, MVPA still there), but delivery appointment date has been updated.

Well go with what they said. What I've been told is ACH funds to Tesla no later than 24 hrs in advance of delivery.
This is a direct cut and paste from the Delivery email I received. I am going by this because my delivery advisor has ignored ALL my questions on payments and finance. It even says to bring your checkbook.

"
Payment

Cash Payment If you plan to pay with cash, we accept ACH payment through your account the day before delivery, or cashier's checks made out to "Tesla, Inc." Without quotation marks.

3rd Party Payment If you plan to finance through a 3rd party bank

· Please upload your pre-approval details online.

· Once paperwork is submitted, and shortly before delivery, we will be able to provide you a purchase agreement to send to your lender. They will need the purchase agreement in order to finalize the loan on their end and release funds.

· Note: please be sure all registrants are listed on the loan.

Tesla Lending If you plan to finance through Tesla Lending

· Log into your Tesla and fill out the credit application. You can accept financing online once your application has been reviewed. This typically happens within 48 hours.

Credit cards are not accepted for final payment. Please bring your checkbook."

I specifically asked this question with my DA. She verified bringing a bank cashier's check is acceptable or ACH is another option.

I would personally rather use ACH for security, however I'm going to bring the check in case my car has issues and I reject

I'm seeing numerous posts with delays for delivery, where Tesla is pushing out the appointments by a few days likely due to logistics. My 9/23 delivery was cancelled on Monday with no option to reschedule for "a few weeks." No response from my Delivery Advisor so the reason is a mystery. Anyone else, other than ConcordeSST receive a cancellation notice with no new delivery date?

Last sentence and first sentence completely contradict each other. One cannot issue a stop-payment to a cashiers check, a check from checkbook can be stopped. But, again, do what they instruct.

So I decided to call the number I received my delay call from just to see where it goes to, and it turns out it's the Tesla delivery scheduling team and it's a number you can call and speak to someone at (was expecting some kind of message indicating the number can't receive calls, etc.). I spoke to a nice agent that said they just didn't want to promise a date and then miss it again, but that they could put me on the schedule again just to have a pickup date scheduled. She seemed to read something on her screen and then told me that yes they're clear to schedule dates in October and gave me my pick of dates starting October 1st for Minneapolis. She assured me that someone would call me if the car ends up arriving sooner and indicated that they're having issues for everyone in my area. So I have a tentative date but not putting much stock in it, I'm just hoping that having an appointment increases the chance of getting a VIN reassigned.

Sorry, I suppose that's useful info. It's 1-888-771-2505

Did you try calling the scheduling line? See my earlier posts above. They might be able to give you a new time (whatever good it will do). Worked for me.

I did not mean to imply ONLY ACH. I meant to imply not a stoppable / insufficient funds possible check. One can issue a stop-payment on a personal check. A personal bank account could lack sufficient funds. A cashier's check or union check (non-personal) arguably can't. The point being Tesla wants to be paid, not litigate an insufficient funds 'bounce' or attempt to repossess the car.
