Keep in mind that Trump asked Bill Gates recently on two separate occasions whether there is a difference between HPV and HIV.

That’s how far removed away he is from the real world.

Someone like that is pretty easy to fool.

I didn't say he's knowledgeable. And certainly on any scientific or technical matter he appears to be completely clueless. But I'm pretty sure he's not naive to the workings of corruption, blackmail, and all manner of sneaky shenanigans that have been known to take place in some industries. I'm quite sure that he knows how all of that works better than the vast majority of people.

We have a whole state government in the most populated state that thinks H2 comes from a beaker of water and a lantern battery. They hired many $$$ scientists to tell them that 'fact'.
