Don't know what you mean by "vehicle life upgrades" but...Do you get vehicle life upgrades with a FSD?
If you bought FSD, it looks like you'll get whatever upgrades are necessary to make FSD work.

How do we know whether the new car has New cameras or old one? I am about to take my delivery (early next week), so curious.there are new cameras. Bigger at least. There’s been pictures posted of size differences.
Be a hero and pop it out and share a picture of the part numberI took a close look at my September build 2022 M3 and it has the new camera I believe based on some images I’ve seen
Lol sorry I don’t think I feel comfortable with that. I based it off a comparison image I saw online where the new camera seems to have a slightly ring around the camera. I could totally be wrong.Be a hero and pop it out and share a picture of the part number
Take a clear close up photo then and post it.Lol sorry I don’t think I feel comfortable with that. I based it off a comparison image I saw online where the new camera seems to have a slightly ring around the camera. I could totally be wrong.

Honestly I'm still not sure if I really have the new cameras or not. I'm not sure I've noticed any differences in everyday driving or AP. When did you pick up your car?You must have the new warp drive time travel cameras.
Wahhhh... I didn't get these
The pic you post of a side camera (where the red paint is visible in the pic) certainly looks like a new camera. I will be curious to see the image quality on the display. Thanks for the extra effort in advance!I'll try in the morning when it's brighter out!

If you purchased Full Self-Driving capability and have Autopilot computer 2.0 or 2.5, you are eligible for a complimentary upgrade to FSD computer. Certain early production vehicles may also receive complimentary camera replacements. A complimentary hardware upgrade is not available for Full Self-Driving capability subscriptions; however, you may be eligible to upgrade at your cost.
What is the current autopilot mode number? You get software updates but hardware is a bit more complicated. From Tesla's FSD page:
If the cameras spec (size of image) change, it changes the complete NN algorithm as the standard for current AutoPilot. That is offering older hardware Tesla's with FSD Capability to upgrade to the cameras. Has nothing to do with the possibility that new cars have a higher resolution/quality/dynamic range camera. Which is yet to be determined. Could be just a different supplier with the same Tesla "spec". We need a removal and examination of the system. Also we don't really know if HW3 could support them anyway.
"...owners who have Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability and early production cameras."
My take is the top glass coating is different. The actual lens elements in the middle are the same.Yeah for sure! So this is the resource that I’m comparing against. No guarantees if that’s accurate:

Sorry it took me a minute. Was pretty busy yesterday but here's two shots (front and right repeater cameras). The pic you post of a side camera (where the red paint is visible in the pic) certainly looks like a new camera. Nope. Front and side video being orange tinted is normal for cars built before these new cameras. Still unsure that new front, side cameras are not orange tinted.Mine are Orange as well. Service call perhaps?
You need to post the rear camera too. Those front and side videos look to have the same orange tint as older cameras But having rear video will help us.Sorry it took me a minute. Was pretty busy yesterday but here's two shots (front and right repeater cameras).
