Surely Tesla had to see the bottleneck of deliveries, coming way before it happened? But it isn't just the delivery aspect, it is the sheer number of vehicles getting through the factory and out to delivery centers, that need further repairs.

No, I used my own credit union for it (Alliant). I'm looking at 9/15 for first payment, I guess there is still a (dim) light at the end of the tunnel, that I'll have it before then.

Made payment 8/22, as delivery was scheduled originally 8/23. Then rescheduled for 9/2, now TBD.

Both the payment from me, and my Credit Union, were done via ACH, so pretty much...no.

I still want the car, I just hate the waiting, like anyone would. Frustrating, especially knowing the car came out of the factory with defects.

That’s great. They updated that for performance version orders, so I am guessing you have a performance version.

Nope. RWD. I just checked and now it’s back to Aug-Oct. Also, on Monday I got an email saying I would get a call on Tuesday to finalize a delivery date around 9-12-18. As of 8:30 PM Wednesday no call. Ugh........

YMMV... but when mine disappeared the financing and trade in sections opened up, in less than 24 hours I'd gotten an email from my ISA

I called again this morning to verify that I do have a VIN, and was told that I do have a real car assigned to me. LOL. I was nervous yesterday was just a dream, so I just had to double check. He said that I should hear from my delivery advisor today. We shall see...

3/31/16 reservation, 6/30/18 order, not a peep from Tesla.

Tesla worker said they deliver 8 - 16 a day and can not keep up with the cars incoming. Said cars are sitting about a month before delivery!

They need to hire more people.

Have you called the Tesla main sales line to see if you have a VIN assigned? They likely won’t tell you the VIN, it they can see if you have one assigned.

Yes called yesterday on a CPO and asked while on the phone and the magic 8 ball said NO vin for you.

I’m sad for you. Trust. I know it must be frustrating to see people who reserved after day one get their process moving. I guess I shouldn’t say that I had the wall charger installed in the garage today. LOL
