Since some of the original 85 kWh packs are starting to fail, and generally the failure is just in one brick in one module. Does anyone know how hard it would be to remove 2 modules from the 16 module pack. Leaving them out of the penthouse essentially creating a 75kwh pack that you could continue to drive on? What hardware, or software changes are required.

This is what @Recell does n they were gonna offer conversion kits but not sure what happened to that idea...
U obviously need some HV buses to complete the loop without 2 modules (either from 75 pack or DIY i guess) and per Recell some emulator board for the missing BMBs, not sure how BMS firmware is handled in this case
Alternatively u can buy BMS/BMBs pulled from 75kwh pack (possibly BMBs are the same n not needed but i have no clue)

Technically speaking an 85 with two modules removed is a 70.
A 90 with two modules removed is a 75.
A 90 with two modules removed is a 75.
