Current Delivery Times

For those of you that previously went to different SCs and found large numbers of cars in inventory awaiting delivery; has all of the inventory now been depleted and (presumably) delivered to customers?

I went by my SC yesterday and the lot was packed and only one family picking up a Model 3.

@AlKreischer , so your white interior LACKS a functional passenger side lumbar? And @with_raiden has a black interior WITH lumbar? And it appears the VINs are all over the place wrt passenger lumbar. This doesn’t make sense, especially with some completely missing buttons and some have buttons that do nothing.

No, here is the latest from AZ - a lot of people in our thread are still waiting for VINs from early / mid April.

I think that's completely reasonable and makes sense to me. I would think, at some point all of the seat controls will be managed by the main unit.

Headrest was managed by the screen in the X, as was lumbar early on and it was pretty awful. BUT, I am sure they can do better.

With the lumbar button being removed on the passenger seat, is that function now controlled in the main unit - or is the lumbar no longer adjustable in the passenger seat?

Might not be perfect but better than nothing right?

I mean would it even make sense for them to remove the entire system from the seats? I feel like that would be way more costly than simply removing the button and consolidating the operations to the screen. The front seats are identical. Creating one with and one without just seems like a complexity that Tesla would avoid. They already have wiring from the central system to the seat to power the heat. The harness is there.

My fingers are crossed that in an upcoming update they add screen controls for lumbar just like with the heated seats, effectively eliminating the need for the vestigial button on the drivers side too.

Just to clarify, when you say no lumbar do you mean there’s not an actual button on the seat or it’s there but disabled? Black or white interior?

There is no button, just a plastic cover where the button used to be.

My white interior has no button on passenger side, just a plastic cover just like this pic:

Picked up yesterday (4/8 order) and definitely no regrets on the color. Delivery went smoothly. No issues noticed, other than a scratch on the side mirror. Service appointment scheduled.

Just this morning my EDD went back to 3-13 weeks after about 5 days of June 13th - June 24th. And they dropped the "from Order Date".
Good thing we haven't sold our current car yet.

It very well may be. Is it possible for you to drive by the DC? I'm taking delivery there was well but am 5 hours away.
