I live in Orlando, can you give me more details on this?!
Download the plugshare app and select CHADEMO as plug type and uncheck "REQUIRES FEE". There are 3 free Chademo chargers in Davenport (championsgate - I4 exit 58) and there is one free Chademo at Sea World Corporate offices. It's not listed on plugshare as they took it down but it can be found via the Greenlots app.. I'm going to look up some more.. I can give you addresses of all the free locations.. There is also a free one in Deltona..

I'm surprised that nobody seems to care for the Chademo adapter... That was the first thing I ordered.. It almost doubles the amount of chargers that you can use.. Sure, Chademo is only 50kw charging but there is a huge amount of those chargers out there.. I have about 15 FREE Chademo chargers within 60 miles of my home.. With my current EV, I charge on the CCS port of the same chargers for free.. I charged about twice at home for 1 hour each in the last 30,000 miles with my current EV.. The rest of the charges were free CCS or Level 2.. No reason to pay if you get charges for free...
As soon as they get some back in stock ill get one for sure... They been out of stock since the day i ordered the car.

This firmware or software issue makes a lot of sense. I’m on Long Island and I’m good friends with my SA (we know each other outside of Tesla). He said there is about 200 cars on his lot right now that are not assigned to anyone. He mentioned it’s likely due to a containment hold but couldn't say for sure. It’s very likely my car is on the lot, even though my ETA is 6/11-6/30 (no VIN).

Hopefully we know more soon!

I’m just curious wouldn’t that affect all cars and not just Y’s? Also people have taken deliveries this month, look at reddit and facebook etc. If you are relying on an SA telling you this then I would caution what they say. If you have another source then perhaps.
Sales Advisor didn't tell me this in my case, it was a Delivery Specialist. And they talk directly to the Service team prepping the cars right before pick-up/delivery. It may just be the difference of who is talking to an SA vs a delivery specialist. Or different delivery specialists deciding to give more or less detail.

Also the most recent firmware may have changes specific to the Model Y that require some type of review. Hard to say one way or the other without more sources/info, like you said.

Let’s try something different. Has anyone seen or heard of a Y delivery in the past week? I am not a fan of Reddit, so not looking there, but if you look there, please let us know.
Not exactly within a week but I got mine last Wednesday (5/5). Originally ordered 3/20 LR white, white interior, induction, with delivery to San Antonio. Got a VIN on 4/26 I believe.
