Congrats. Per what I was told by my SA and store manager if anyone gets a VIN you should call Tesla and select Delivery to speak with a live agent to confirm and lock it in. This helps to prevent from losing it.

I wish that was the case, I spoke with my SA MANY times about my first VIN and it was still stolen....

The one good thing about the delay in delivery is my model 3 performance trade in value was $49,200 when I put the order in and now it is up to $51,200. It's crazy but it might even go higher before I take delivery! I am almost asking my SA daily to submit the new trade value. It is changing that fast.

This doesn’t happen with high quality Tesla puddle lights. 4 of my friends have them and have zero issues. I will be installing the same.
