Woke up this morning to an unmoved delivery window of 8/14 - 8/20. And then at 11.30 AM received a text and an email from Tesla to schedule my delivery. 8/19 2PM pick up scheduled!!! WOOHOO!!! Exactly a 100 days from order date!
wow, we're almost identical - ordered 14 May and picking up 18 Aug, so 96 days (13 weeks 5 days) by my count, congrats!

This is some roller coaster, not sure why I keep looking at my EDD.

My Model YLR had been consistently September & I then pushed to October the other day. In frustration I reserved a MYP and it said 6-8 weeks. This morning my MYP (ordered yesterday) said Aug 28-Sept 17 and My MYLR (ordered July 12) EDD was blank. I was kind of pumped up about the late Aug Performance date to be honest.

I just refreshed again and my Perfromance now says 6-8 weeks a MYLR say October again…wtf is happening.

Compare these two. Tesla MY vs BMW x3M, the Tesla still costs more, when you add the black paint and 20" rims to match the BMW x3M.
CSTARZZ -- what others are saying, and I largely agree with them, is that the price you pay is for the tech (software + all the cool battery engineering that others are still figuring out). In terms of build quality and interior, Audi, Bimmers etc are more luxurious than the Tesla. At least that's the way it seemed to me. But at this point like many others, I am willing to pay for the superiority of Tesla's technology.

I have been watching a lot of videos of Munro live. For an engineering nerd like me those videos are EV-porn! And I am blown away by how much weight reduction and concomitant increases in efficiency (MPGe) Tesla has achieved by integrating functions and reducing connections in both the plumbing and the circuitry. The octovalve is an example of that. Other EVs pale in comparison. But I do like the interior of the Mach E better. That doesn't mean I prefer the Mach E.

Everyone Call This Number And Press Option 4 For Logistics… And Tell Them You Wanting An Update Because Your Promised Time When Ordered Is Up… Flood Their Lines… 510-249-3100… Please Post Your Answers On What They Provided…
I'm just past week 9 of my 9-13 week original estimate when i placed the order. Saving the number for the future if I don't have my MY past week 13!

Though I appreciate the sentiment, it's important to note that they never gave 'promised times' - they gave 'estimated dates of delivery'. While I want to cuss someone out and just get my car, I don't think this is necessarily the right approach.

Hello all! I am one of the fellow waitlister and new to TMC.

ordered: 5/19 with profile completed 5/22
MYLR - White on white, 5 seater, no other option

Hope to see EDD soon!
Got the VIN last Friday and confirmation email for delivery on Saturday and scheduled for 8/11 (Wed). VIN 231 was born on July 12th (confirmed with local SA). Upfront payment made, rest is financed via Tesla (had to re-do it because of the wait). Fingers crossed the inspection and final delivery goes well!. Hang in there, looks like May orders should be filled in next few weeks per SA.

Hey guys, been watching this forum for the past few weeks and crowdsourcing info like you guys have done has made this entire process SO much more bearable. Like many of you, my SA stinks when it comes to communication or even giving any information that's remotely accurate (I'm really confident we'll have you in a car by the end of June....). Ordered May 15 a MYLR white with black interior. No tow. Standard rims. Ordered in January to lock in the sub $50k price in order to get the $2500 rebate MA offers. Went off inactive in May and completed the profile May 15. No VIN. No delivery date. randomly switching EDD like everyone else. At this point I'm just hoping I can get it before September, and even that is starting to feel like a wish that won't be coming true.

Agree, I don't think spamming their customer service agents will do any good. This isn't a problem that a handful of upset TMC users will address, it's a much deeper problem with Tesla and their EDD process (which I agree, is an estimate, not a promise).

No one should be making decisions based off their initial EDD because it's an estimate and subject to change.

Totally agree, I also don't think it's the right approach. I know we're all trying to get creative, but if people were to actually "flood their lines", well...that is the definition of a DOS attack - not recommended. If everyone actually did it, it might take their number offline/unavailable for a bit. Either way, zero impact to Fremont manufacturing operations.

This. I've had the urge to call and give them hell before but that's not going to speed anything up at Fremont.. unfortunately

I just tried checking my EDD (for the 80th time today) and I cannot access the order page (times out and leaves me on the Dashboard)...hoping they're adding a blue button to my order page. :p I joined Oktoberfest a few days ago (previously EDD was 8/21 - 9/10).
