From what I understand, the person who delivers can accept the check. The only thing that sucks with home delivery is not having an SA there to witness any defects you find and to help you setup a service appointment to fix them.
Ahh so if I don't have a check, I could also pay online upon accepting delivery too? Or it must be a check
I got a VIN today! 5YJYGAEE1MF298XXX. I really did not think I would get a VIN on a Sunday, and the number is all the way up to 298…someone is going to get that 300 number.

Was hoping you would have gotten your VIN by now, since your order date is 2 days before mine, and your first EDD started 2 days before mine as well…my first EDD was pushed back farther than yours so that is worrisome though…
Thanks. I think a lot of it just depends on luck. Someone in NJ with a 7/23 OD and mid Nov. EDD received a VIN last week around my EDD front end range for my exact build. Not only does Tesla need to be working on your config in a batch (mfg. luck) there also needs to be room on the truck/train to your delivery center (logistics luck). So it’ll get here when it gets here. But, may the odds ever be in your favor.

No holds or changes…the earliest EDD I had in the 4th quarter was 11/11 - 12/1. It recently changed to 11/25 -12/23.
In July I ordered Y long range White black int no frills. Tesla keeps pushing the date out now Nov Dec.

If you add inductions or change the color it’s April. So for $1000 or $2000 you can knock 3 months off. Spend more money get it sooner.
