Did he deliver any $35k M3 in the first year? I thought most were higher trims?
He did not. I'm willing to wait. Let the early adopters pay top $

Correct but this contract is only for a place in line to order a car... It is a fully refundable deposit for a place in line to order a car, not a deposit for the purchase of the car. The terms will be in the purchase agreement something all other limited available cars have. Ford did it with the GT, Lexus did it with the LFA.Money was exchanged, that makes it a contract. Enforcement is a totally different story.
Money was exchanged to hold your place in line. Period. Read the pre order agreement as posted and point out where it requires you to purchase a car.Money was exchanged, that makes it a contract. Enforcement is a totally different story.
It is no longer refundable. It can be applied towards a purchase but it is forfeit if you don’t purchase one.Correct but this contract is only for a place in line to order a car... sorry, was referring to the fee for all other Tesla vehicles. Guess they need all the help they can get boosting preorder numbers for CT.What? The $100 is still fully refundable.
Requiring a person to purchase the vehicle isn’t part of the contract. Actually, it has a provision to cancel the purchase and receive the money back.Money was exchanged to hold your place in line. Period. Read the pre order agreement as posted and point out where it requires you to purchase a car.
Yes, the resellers section covers the resale, attempting to put punitive damages on that beyond cancelling the sale is not a good look. If they think you are flipping it (immediately available for resale with under 100 miles) they will come after you.Requiring a person to purchase the vehicle isn’t part of the contract. It does have a resellers clause that shouldn’t be allowed to change since it is a contract.
Point is moot anyway; the 1-year/$50k clause was retracted.
No, they won’t. Under the current agreement, which 1+ million people entered into, Tesla will "unilaterally cancel any order that we believe has been made with a view toward resale of the Vehicle or that has otherwise been made in bad faith." Not in the agreement, but Tesla has been known to do, is block future sales.Yes, the resellers section covers the resale, attempting to put punitive damages on that beyond cancelling the sale is not a good look. There can, and there is rumored to be, a separate purchase agreement when you actually buy a vehicle. They can, and again rumor is they will, state things like a reseller clause there, legally. No, they won’t. Where in the current agreement, again which 1+ million people entered into, are punitive damages stated or where is there an ‘under 100 mile’ clause?
Your deposit is not a purchase agreement!!!! The Deposit is for a place in line to place an order for a car! Once you complete this and press the order button a purchase agreement is generate. This is how every manufacturer works when buying a car! This is the document you get in The finance office. Don’t confuse a purchase agreement that lists price and terms with a deposit to order a car!No, they won’t. Does anyone even know what they are paying for the truck?
It is a contact with terms and conditions. That’s what you and many others are not getting. Not going to discuss the matter further.Your deposit is not a purchase agreement!!!! Correct but not for the price or purchase of a CT… i know it’s a hard concept but it’s clearly spelled out online. It is a contact with terms and conditions. That’s what you and many others are not getting. Not going to discuss the matter further.

This is not a rumor. The MVPA is different than the pre order agreement. Whether or not there is a separate CT MVPA is up for debate. There can, and there is rumored to be, a separate purchase agreement when you actually buy a vehicle. Hopefully the rumor is wrong.
My “come after you” meant they will cancel the sale. No, they won’t. There is no single motor, we already know that, confirmed. Dual and Tri only (for now). Not yet. I even spoke to some local reps. Radio silence.
My prediction. The single motor will be at announced pricing, all other trims "market" pricing

Most rumors are that there will be 1 pack size at launch. Then I predict Dual will be the "loss leader" (with a smaller battery pack, like SR 3 & Y )
Hah, if they even give us specs. Might just be a photo op. They are popping up in showrooms but that might just be bait to draw people in. Would be interesting to see if anyone is allowed to sit inside and see what the screen shows or if they are truly demonstration pieces that might not be fully functional. Most rumors are that there will be 1 pack size at launch.
We'll see in 10 days.
