I took delivery on 12/28 and haven't seen my loyalty 10k yet. Tried to message in the app but they seemed to be ghosting me now, or could be that I'm just messaging delivery personnel and they don't handle it.

Any other resources or specific departments I could reach out to?
I would say, go to Tesla center and ask them to add. In my app, it is already showing. But please note that you are using the same email which is linked to your previous Tesla. Otherwise there is no localty.

Has anyone received their registration documentation? Pickup was last week of Nov and my temp tags expire in a few days.
Took almost 2 months to get my registration documents in, after Tesla screwed up multiple times. I called them after a month only to find out they had not submitted anything because they claim I never uploaded proof of insurance. Mind you, I use Tesla insurance, and I am required to provide proof at least 2 days before pickup in Texas. It took another couple days to get that sorted out, but I had to call multiple times and spend hours on the phone.

In the end, Tesla had to pay penalties to the county for not registering within 30 day as well as not paying the new car taxes that they collected from me at point of sale.

I'd recommend you call them to find out what's the holdup. They will email you a second temp tag.

I emailed the operations advisor for the store I picked up the vehicle from. She said she would contact the DMV specialist to get an update. My Y paperwork arrived within a week. But I asked for another temp tag and she said it’s not legal to send another one. I may give them a call tomorrow.

Anyone in the same situation?

I just received a call from the delivery advisor, asking if I'm willing to cancel my scheduled Saturday delivery because Tesla can't currently deliver car with the tax credit. They're still working with the IRS to sort it out. If I don't mind skipping the tax credit, I can pick up the car right away; it's already at the service center. However, if I want the tax credit, I'll need to wait until further notice.

Perhaps the legality may vary from state to state, but they had no issues sending me a second tag. In fact, they stated that in Texas, they typically leave a second temporary tag that extends it another month in your glove box.

Similar situation here. Scheduled 1/6 for pickup. Called the delivery center asking about the point of sale tax credit. Was told they are still working on it and I will need to report it myself next year if I decide to pick up on schedule. I was also told that the point of sale tax credit should be ready by next week, so they helped me to push my pick up date to 1/13.

Hope I can rely on what they told me and won't need to wait for another week or 2..

Thank you for your information. I was told they can't reschedule now because they don't know when the paperwork will be ready. A question: Can we still get the $7500 tax credit if we pick up the car? Is it just a matter of Point of Sale (POS) versus reporting it ourselves?

I just called them again to clarify. They said we can’t report ourselves this year. So pretty much give up the tax credit or wait.

That's why I always feel like I can't 100% trust what Tesla employees say... Totally different story here.
I was told that if I pick up this Saturday, I can still report for the tax credit later, just like the ones were delivered in 2023.

Tesla employees are just throwing whatever they think is right to us..

Also, do you see the "incentives" section under your delivery task in your app?

Found this tweet that might explain why the farce! Only Tesla can 💩 like this.

and , this is what it says.
I was at Tesla today, I asked about it and she said it has to be a 2024 serial number VIN to get the $7500 instant credit. They are working on getting the 23’s approved by the IRS. She said to wait to order until like February and by March the $7500 should be good instantly.

Personally I also happened to drop by the service center yesterday to ask about EDD Jan 4 - Feb 8 they keep on saying any day now only for EDD to move a day ahead. When I asked about 2024 VIN they said there were some "issues" last week in production but the production should have begun this week and if I get a VIN assigned for a car produced from 1/1/24 then it would be 2024 VIN. Based on past experience I'm not going to hold my breath 😥

I got the same feeling. Yes, I still can see it and it says Self-Clamin. How about you?
