Not sure if I recall correctly, but it seems the price of Model S has just gone up on the Tesla AU site.

Car manufacturers always change their prices constantly.
Reflecting the current market, exchange rate, service and delivery costs, etc.

Its just that we can easily access Tesla's prices compared to other manufactuers.
But yes, it appears to have slightly gone up.

Model 3 prices went up
3SR+ $6k
3LR $2k but included 19" wheels
3P $2k.
Plus 30-40% for LCT and other taxes.

Wouldn't surprise if S and X (and R) went up 5-10%, but unsure if anyone was tracking them

It was reported Tesla prices would go up because of our poor current exchange rate. This is not just a Tesla thing, it will hit us on all imports and has already started on items we import without currency hedging.

Our dollar has spiked down to as low as 55c to the $US in the last few weeks, but has since rebounded to just under 63.5c. Still a long way off the 70c typical range when the Model 3 was first introduced here. Looking at the new prices they seem to be pegged around 62.5c. Not unreasonable but hopefully we keep climbing and get back closer to a long term average.

I am so glad I bought last year, not just re the price rise, but I detest low profile tyres. I just tolerate 18”. 19” might have been a bridge too far. Dodged a massive bullet.
