I got update today with EDD Mar 30-31st , No VIN yet. Problem is I am going to trip from Mar31st to April 9th. My question how come they give just 2 day window for delivery and without VIn #
OD 1/25/23 , 7 seater , changed to 5 seater on 1/31/23.
Original EDD Jan-March
2/14 EDD Mar 19-Mar 31st
3/5 EDD April 18th-May 21st
3/22 EDD Mar 30- Mar 31st
There is a shipment expected to east coast on 3/28 from Austin. Most likely they have some unassigned cars and do last minute allocations. Happened to my friend during last shipment, he got vin and schedule to delivery on same day. Good luck.

The drama continues. Made an appointment Thursday for 3/21. Today got a text…”due to slight delays your car won’t be here on the 21st, please reschedule for 24, 25, or 27.” Called and they blamed a shipping issue due to weather. Maybe snow out west?
Today got a text, “you’re car arrived early, can you pick up tomorrow?” Heading there tomorrow afternoon! 😅

MYLR MSM was home delivered today. So far no issues found. Time for some new car pictures porn.

Congrats! And that's great to hear!

Also wow, I honestly don't know what the actual requirement is because the SA at my location said within 24 hours and 100 miles. 🤷‍♀️

I submitted 1 issue for service a few days after pickup (and less than 100 miles) but they still estimated a charge for it (I ended up cancelling cause the issue wasn't really a huge deal + didn't want to cause further issues if Service messes up).
I read somewhere that even warranty repairs are first quoted at regular price and then zeroed out when the actual work is complete. You may want to verify that with your SA.

Should I go for a MYP and have to fly/drive to Fremont from SoCal and back to ensure a March delivery? Or just wait for April of my original order MYLR and sweat it out for the tax credit to not be halved?

Decisions, decisions
I’d just wait. Didn’t we have some reliable sources indicating MY should still be eligible for the full $7500, but not M3.

If you really can see yourself being happy with the MYP, it's probably worth a shot. Maybe one of the MYPs in No CA will be rerouted to you. By the way, it worked out for me. I made the change on 3/17, and the MYP that was delivered today was actually produced that very day.

If you like MYP, just think you are going to get the $3,750 credit and speeding dellivery with more features.

I did but they still said you have to log a Service ticket within 24 hours AND 100 miles. I'm not entirely sure cause I've heard of SAs in different locations have varying answers so not sure which SA's word is the actual truth.

Doesn't matter for me now cause I've owned my MY for over a month now. Going in for Service though in the next 1-2 weeks due to an error I'm consistently getting while driving (it's covered under warranty so estimated cost came out to $0).

Did you do everything thru the website? And you kept the original MYP price (that was from your original OD)?

Do you have time to process the payment ? ....
Yes! Luckily already planned to getting my credit union check Thursday morning (actually delayed it from Monday) and have plaid all setup for paying the down payment.

Maybe they know I tend to procrastinate and gave me an early date (3/21) to make sure I got my stuff together and then a later date (3/24), and now my “early” (3/23) delivery. 🤔

Funny that the driver dropped off my car today told me it’s 30 days/1000 miles. I had to confirm that w the 510 number this afternoon, and they told me it’s 7 days or 100 miles whichever comes first.

Update - Everything done by myself except PPF:
1. Got the front bumper and partial hood PPF installed for $600
2. Ceramic coated the car - $170
3. Installed Taptes white seat covers - $ 570
4. Installed Screen swivel - $66
5. Installed camera covers - $20, foglight eyes - $ 27 and honeycomb front grill - $19 to give a more sportier look
6. Installed the Tesla logo puddle lights - $18

Things to do:
1. Change rim covers
2. Install spoiler
3. Blacken the Tesla emblems
4. Install rear reflector eyes
5. Install carbon fiber covers on side mirrors
Looks great! I like those fog light eyes. What does the honeycomb front grill look like?
