Disney + login - Black screen

I had this today while trying to log in following the update. The two button soft reset fixed it and it now works

Open Disney+ select film then play button and it goes to a black screen. No new updates between it working OK and I have tried the two button reset and also logged out the account and back In but no luck. Any ideas?

Has there ever been a resolution to this? My Disney plus stopped working on 2022.36.5 and is no better now on 2022.36.6. I can login and view the main Disney plus screen but when I select any content is goes to black screen. You name it I’ve tried it!

I’ve got the same problem. Tried to watch Andor and just got an endless black screen. App loads fine and I can browse, but no content plays.

Same here! I'm on MS with MCU2.... Running 2022.36.6. i can browse the app but when I select any content to play.... Black screen. Soft reset does not work.

Alas, it isn't. Tried it at around 2am after having updated and two button rebooted the car. Disney+ still black screen when trying to play anything.

Same here (M3P, 2019) not had a chance to check since last night's update, but wasn't expecting any change. Reboot not helping. All other streaming is fine, just the content won't play in Disney Plus.

Sadly they're still listing it as a fault. If its any consolation its not just the UK, on the general software area others have reported the same, as I said over there its possibly as simple as a codec change on Disneys part to one that Tesla don't currently have installed.

I saw somewhere that someone had claimed that the reason it's stopped working is because Disney has stopped allowing playback on browser "user agents" that aren't Windows. Since the car would present as "Chromium", I would assume, it doesn't work. That doesn't really stack up logically to be honest because I can watch DIsney+ just fine on a Mac using Firefox.

Who knows why it's not working though, we might never know.

I have all the updates and Disney + works on my Y, its odd how certain things work on some cars and not on others?

I had a black screen bug on IIRC youtube once, I did the monty python (rename car to patsy - or others) easter egg trick and it all came back, not had a problem since.
