Today it costs $6k to upgrade from EAP to FSD ($6k EAP + $6k upgrade = $12k FSD)
Does anyone know what this pricing will be when FSD goes up to $15k?

My guess would be $6k, $7.5k, or $9k. But that’s why I’m asking to see if anyone actually knows. My guess would be $9K, but it would make sense. I’d imagine the price of EAP may also rise at some point.
Pony up for what, EAP or the FSD upgrade? The EAP > FSD upgrade price has always been the difference in cost between the two options, as far as I can remember, so if EAP doesn't increase, the FSD upgrade should go up to $9k when the price increases. My guess would be $6k, $7.5k, or $9k. But that’s why I’m asking to see if anyone actually knows.
Debating whether to pony up for it now…
Called Tesla and, predictably, they don’t know.Sounds like nobody knows… just guesses so far.
I think it does. Here is what the bill says:Frustrating with Tax Credit looming. Considering dropping to EAP on my MY order to get below 80,000. Still not sure if FSD counts towards 80,000. Tesla says yes. (Also skeptical)

Because inflationary pressures exist on all companies. The cost of goods and services is rising everywhere. Why would Tesla increase the price of EAP if the feature set isn’t being substantially added to it? Other than another money grab it doesn’t follow suit!
By that rationale it should still be the original price ($3k was it?)The price increases for FSD are, according to @Elon, for the increased feature set being added to FSD.

Before all the “extras” were added. I would bet they don’t add any more capability to it and keep anything “new” going to FSD onlyBy that rationale it should still be the original price ($3k was it?)
The EAP feature set hasn’t changed in years, so there’s no reason to expect new EAP features in the future. I would expect improvements to the existing features, however. Before all the “extras” were added. I would bet they don’t add any more capability to it and keep anything “new” going to FSD only
$9kAny new information on the cost of upgrading from EAP to FSD, post 9/5? We know that EAP is $6K, FSD is $15K, if a vehicle has EAP and wants to purchase FSD (not subscription), how much is it?
Bonus question: I presume, like FSD, EAP can be purchased after delivery at any time? Is it $6K out the door or is there sales tax?
Thanks.

That feature is now available on all cars I think (all cars with HW3 maybe), so it no longer requires EAP or FSD. It was initially only available in FSD.The only new EAP feature I know of is the traffic light chime.
