Whenever I worry about AI’s existential risks, I just go listen to what Elon has to say, and I feel much better. Clearly not an imminent concern (though obviously has immediate impacts in various non-existential ways).

The other CEOs haven't signed a licensing deal because they don't believe the guy who said autonomy was "basically a solved problem" in 2016.
I'm going to guess they know a little bit more about the potential of FSD/robotaxis than a random blogger/YouTuber.

Well, Tesla said the same about NACS tooTime will tell.
FWIW it was over 7 years between the first time Tesla offered to let others access superchargers and when anyone in NA actually took them up on it.
And unlike Tesla >L2 self driving, superchargers actually exist.
False equivalency. NACS and Superchargers are REAL and LONG TERM proven technologies. FSD is at best a few years away.Well, Tesla said the same about NACS too

Just for the record, the only major automakers on the NACS adoption graphic (posted in December, 2023) shown as having “not yet” adopted NACS have since adopted it (Stellantis and Mazda). The remaining non-adopters are all low-volume.

Still want to know how this will work on HW2.5 vehicles with EAP. Going to be interesting! Or those poor souls will just take it like a champ and somehow agree that they'll get some hobbled version, when they bought the same thing as everyone else?
I assume Tesla will just upgrade all those HW2.5 computers for free?
