EU finalize and deliveries

Today I received a call from Tesla regarding the waitinglist for Model S Signature. After the Get Amped tour Europe, some Signature reservation holders decided to change to a Production model. They asked whether I was still interested in getting an upgrade - and without hesitation the answer was "Yes!".

Signed up for the waiting list in September - a few weeks after my reservation.

Now I will just have to transfer the Signature reservation fee, and hopefully it will be received by beginning of next week by Tesla.

So there is still hope for a delivery this summer:biggrin:

Det samme gjaldt Roadsteren også. Den er montert i UK, da er den et EU-produkt. Import til Eu-land fra eksempelvis US gir "eu-toll". Så om vi norske Roadstereiere vil eksportere til Eu går det fint uten at de må betale toll

The R-numbers are normal production cars, aren't they? (for people who own a Roadster or are more or less related to someone with a Roadster). They should get to finalize after the 500 Signatures, and those are not done yet. After reaching something like number 300 (??), Tesla used last week to fill vacated spots with people from the Sig waiting list.

There is a handful of people in England who handle the configuration process, so they can't send out too many mails at the same time. Before, during and after the configuration process I had at least four contact moments with the configuration specialist, two of which were initiated by Tesla. They take their time to make sure everyone gets through the process correctly.

I think R's and first few hundred P's can expect the configuration e-mails maybe late March, but surely in April.

they must, hopefully, have meant all the Rs before the gP starts....... considering there are more than 200 Roadster owners and relations.........

well as you can see from my signature I have R269 so there are obviously more than 200......... so I wonder what happens to us.... :-(

That's an exceptionally good point. Unless signature roadster owners are signature and non-signature roadsters are roadsters.

Not neccessarily. 69 R-reservations could easily have been upgraded to sigs, leaving quite a few holes in the sequnce.

But I was a P(731) prior to becoming R231 after tipping Tesla that my company already has a Roadster.

So I'm not sure there are 200 Rs at max.

I were P987 and now I'm S410 after beeing on Signature waitlist since late summer, and I've just got the Finalize button!

Last week at the event in Norway at around 30min into the presentation Elon said the following:

[...] The first Model Ses outside of North America will come to Norway [...]

[...] The first deliverys will occury in July. We gonna really shift quiet a significant portion a of our [manufacturing] mix to europan deliverys as we are prioritizing Norway [...]

This makes me (EU Sig #14 in Switzerland) wonder, how many Model S will go to Norway before the rest of us in Europe will start receiving their cars...
