Yeah, they are really trying hard to delivery as many vehicles as possible. Ours shipped from Atlanta to Dallas yesterday evening and they called us and delivered it to us at 10pm yesterday night. Even after such a long work week and day for them, our DA was so patient and explained us all the features for about an hour without hurrying up. Kudos to Telsa service. This is what keeps Tesla way ahead of any other dealerships.Should be a heroic effort by Tesla employees at delivery centers all around the country - if you are picking up a Model S or X today, please post a photo and comment about the general level excitement/chaos. Thanks!

I'm picking my car today my appointment is late 8PM! Service center in Paramus, NJ my DS doesn't really have a good communication track record, I will post my experience later tonight... and upload some pics.
I know this is going to sound like I'm nitpicking, but as a new owner you need to understand something. Tesla is a manufacturer. They have sales/service centers and show rooms. They don't use franchised dealerships. This sales model helps make Tesla successful, and provides customers with a choice in a free market.
Tesla is currently under attack from dealer associations and their lobbyists in an effort to stop Tesla and to protect their monopolies. When tesla owners use the word "dealership" when they really mean "sales center", it hurts Tesla's position, which as an owner, I'm sure you don't wish to do.
Anyone still waiting for delivery. i ordered mine on 09/18 ,suppose to get deliver today but car is not here yet.

Even though I had to settle for a "slower" model it is still much faster than my Infinity FX50 with 5.0L 400HP V8. I can feel the weight of my eardrums moving towards the back of my head under acceleration even in the rain.
A 90D a slower model? I took delivery of my 75 today and found the acceleration quite nice. But I'm an old gizzer approaching 70, so any 0-60 under 6 seconds is pretty quick to me. Hell, I might even cancel my M3 reservation. Cheers!
