Sad for you: What is the speed limit?
With the car on chill mode, they could have loaned you any other car. Why loan out a P100D at all
Oh God don’t remind me of that!I got a P100D with 200 miles on it back in July as a loaner. I was so stoked untill I got in the car and saw it was locked in Chill mode. I get why they do it but I thought nice loaners was supposed to be a way to get owners to upgrade to newer cars. All I wanted was to do a few hundred Ludi launches that day haha.
Also happens to be the time when you need to take an important client out to lunchOh God don’t remind me of that!
Can’t recall how many times I’ve taken my car in for service or repair expecting to get a nicer model s as per the “top end model” policy, only to be stuck in an enterprise ford.
Not going to say how I know this, but I had a P100D loaner and it wasn't locked in acceleration, or speed They said locked at 85 mph, but a little birdie told me they saw 124 mph.

But what if the client is from Dubai and your job is to purchase extravagant items for his new mansion...This is great. You can tell the client how frugal you are and careful with money and how you will do great work for them!
If you're right, I apologize to all affectedSo they instituted this policy after you returned the car
Are they still hiring? But what if the client is from Dubai and your job is to purchase extravagant items for his new mansion...
Thanks Tesla!
Locking it to say 85mph is ok but locking it in chill mode? That is counter productive. I have never seen that.
A P100d is a chance to impress someone to upgrade, or better yet, convert and ICE buyer to EV. Locking it makes no sense.
