My car has lowered the volume when the door was opened since I got it in April. Why is that in the release notes?
It says any door is opened, does it currently only do it for the driver door?

I believe it before this, volume is only lowered when driver door is open.

Damn, I don't really care for the arcade games, but I want this badly, I love playing chess...

I've an early AP2 - that means I should get it, right, but not the Beach Buggy, is that correct?

Tesla Games are dependent on MCU and not AP hardware. MCU1 was unable to run Beach Buggy but it appears will be OK to run Chess, so you should get it based on the fact that your car is MCU1. MCU2 started rolling out in March 2018 on AP2.5 hardware and above. But there was a period of time that MCU1 was shipping with AP2.5 which is the combination I have. It means I have some features like the dashcam and sentry, but not the Beach Buggy game.

Considering the games only run when in PARK (ie, no map updates or anything else that goes on while driving), MCU1 should be able to handle anything that isn't graphically intensive.

Chess should tax the MCU1 far less than something like Tempest or Space Duel would.

2048 is a game like chess why is not possible to add this game on MCU1?

I've had 2048 for quite a while in my 2017 Model S with MCU1. I missed out on MCU2 by a few weeks.

woah anybody know what engine Chess is based on? I am guessing Stockfish?

not sure it has enough allocated power for stockfish . Wonder if it's restricted to like 2200 elo or something to beat most (but not all ) people

I lost cellular connection in my vehicle. I’ve thumbwheel rebooted twice and it hasn’t recovered. Thank god fart mode is still working though!!!!!

Now on 28.2. Car is home in the garage, so no idea what the release notes are.

Just got 28.2 on my Dec 2016(MCU 1, I think). Added chess game and vol fix from 28.1. Also includes dog mode fix.

FYI, went from 20.4.2 to 28.2.
