It will be reversed. With the complexity of the Tesla electronics, it proved way to difficult to invert.

Just to be clear, the image will be reversed? So when we are looking at the right side of what's on the screen, it will actually be the left front of the car?

Correct. They investigated the possibility of inverting the image, but found that it was actually going to be very difficult.

So the front image is reversed, yes.

It sounds really interesting, but I don't know how well it will work in winter conditions. Salted, snowy highways cover my car, especially the tail, with salt deposits. After driving 25 miles to work, my rear-view camera has been nearly unusable. A front camera could be even more affected. Does anyone have any relevant experience?
