Great September Delivery Push

1. Got their delivery notification within the last ~2 weeks
2. Have delivery date scheduled within the next ~2 weeks

Can Tesla pull this off? I'm interested in delays/failures, success stories, issues that lie somewhere in between, all of it. How'd the trade in go? How'd the financing go?

Not interested in your configs, locations, attempts at trying to figure out exactly how Tesla is deciding who gets what when, or sob stories about how you don't have a car yet. Thanks.

My deets: Contacted 2 weeks ago, set up delivery for 9/28, was allowed to send in trade-in info (no offer yet). Told VIN would be available 3 days before delivery, which does not give me a warm fuzzy. Good luck everyone!

I was originally scheduled for this Friday 21st. Today received a reschedule call, it now pushed to Monday 24th. I ordered on Aug 25th.

Contacted on September 8th with earliest delivery available September 19th. Just received a call today, September 17th that delivery needs to slide out to September 25th as next soonest possible due to "transit delays".

9/8 got with VIN. setup delivery on the 28th.
had agreed trade in prior to ordering, but just now got official offer. Confirmed 9/28 is still good

I believe Tesla is going to do everything they can to deliver as many vehicles as possible by the end of Sep.

I guess that means one less P3D+ in the books for this quarters results.

Contacted 2 weeks ago and Scheduled delivery for 9/28. Last week I completed Tesla loan and received confirmation email of my schedule on 9/28. Haven't received anything else since. No account update with VIN or even my confirmed delivery date.

I hope everything goes smoothly. I'm 15mins away from the factory, so I think my probability of it arriving on time is higher. It seems the farther away you are, you're at the mercy of the transporting trucks/train not hitting any delays.

I'm scheduled for Friday 9/28 at Costa Mesa. Decided to leave work early for a 12:45 PM Pick Up before the weekend September delivery rush. Was notified to schedule last Thursday 9/13.

I was scheduled for pick up on 9/15. Got a text the night before that I'm being reschedule due to logistical constraints. My IDA got back to me today saying the service center should get back to me by EOD today. It's almost EOD. No word. Sigh.

OP: IMO location & config are relevant - e.g., RWD has no backlog, meaning orders can be processed as they come in and there may even be inventory in some places, while AWD/P requires Tesla to match buyers to their cars.

Received initial delivery date on 9/11 to pick up in Fremont on 9/23
Received call today that home delivery was available this week - now scheduled for home delivery on 9/19

VIN appeared on website for me some time between Saturday and today.

All of my information is complete from the first time around. But I need a VIN to finalize loan as first loan application expired. Unfortunately, my delivery specialist has yet to respond to any of my emails, including the one asking to reschedule my delivery appointment since he initially booked a slot that I would not be able to show up for. I actually went to delivery center and rescheduled in person. Might just try that to get the VIN if I don’t get any feedback in the next day or two.

Yeah, I ordered 8/11 (changed to white interior on 8/31) with no previous reservation and am expecting home delivery on 9/27. Still no communication at all since I was contacted on 9/6 to choose a delivery date.

AWD, blue, white interior, EAP, aeros

I have a trade-in pending (no movement for over a week) and am paying via credit union, so not even sure how that's going to work with home delivery.

* Ordered July 1st and requested delivery in October.
* got call from Tesla mid Sept (a few days ago) if I could buy in Sept. agreed and switched color to blue.
* delivery 9/21 at Fremont Factory.
* got VIN tonight, 76xxx. (is this low, meaning produced and stored a while ago?). How would I know? No record of transportation with United Road.
