I wonder how many of those exec's would actually want a model 3? Why would they drive a 3 when they can drive an S? Elon said he wouldn't drive his, he'll stick to the S... I'd imagine the same would apply to most of the Tesla execs.

It's at least possible that the executives have friends and family. Or maybe a favorite charity. Or they view the car as a collectible. Or they enjoy a little change once in a while. Or they bought the car to show confidence in Tesla. I could go on ...

You need to flip the projected HUD image so that it can be read by the driver inside the car, rather than by someone looking at the car from the outside.

Amazing! I tried to invert the colors of that image too - but this time I also rotated it 180ᴼ counter-clockwise. The badge turned into a frigging LIDAR!!

Even for the ~30 cars they announced that they will hand out, it makes sense logistically to do that outdoors.
