It will be in the Fremont area, but I think they might be out of room at the factory. Plus it would be disruptive. And parking would be impossible.

They have some other buildings in the vicinity, I'm betting they use one of those.

People are guessing that it might be here:
Fremont 47400 Kato Road (not yet operational, 20 stalls)

It is starting to smell like that will be a new delivery center instead of directly at the factory complex.

When I had an interview in Fremont they flew me to San Jose airport, SJC. Bay area traffic sucks, but SJC was really close. I imagine it will be somewhere in that area, even if not at the factory.

They're not shipping the cars 300 miles. The event will be in Fremont.

That would be terrible. However, I'm a good conversationalist and wouldn't be too troubled to help keep you from getting bored as we stand in line after arriving for the event.

That is my hope but IF history repeats itself *most* will go to Board members, big financial backers and Friends of Elon.

I noted in a post above that I believe it would not only be the *right* thing to do but would be a great statement/seminal moment as the more affordable Tesla that was what the mission statement is all about went to the very people that are in the *trenches* everyday. People that represent the *everyman* that the car's 35K price tag was meant to target.
