Has anyone done wheel alignment at Tesla?

How was the experience? Is it worth $250? Do they actually align all wheels and parameters? Can they give a print out before-after?

The problem is that my wheel alignment experience with other shops (pep boys, mavis tires and etc) was horrible. They are literally scammers! They promise to do all wheel alignment but only do the front wheel toe. And when I tried to force them to do what they promised they always just gave me money back.

Any shop can align the rear just fine but very few places are willing to work on Teslas.

The front suspension is fully adjustable in camber and caster and the service manual details the simple process, but the adjustment range is so minuscule that no one ever bothers. I doubt Tesla techs would either.

Well …. I noticed some uneven tire wear, took car to Tesla for alignment, paid them the money, and tire wear stopped.

I have a ‘22 M3P and the steering wheel was off center as delivered. I took it to Tesla and they aligned it, they did a good job. At 22k miles the tires are wearing evenly.

Toe is what kills tires, not camber.

your saying that inside tire wear doesn’t happen? It definitely happened to my 2022 MYP, rear 21’ Pirelli tires; Had them replaced not to long ago with 27K miles on them.

Not at all. I'm saying your toe settings are what kills tires. NOT Camber. You likely have some toe out.

Lol. There is absolutely zero reason to get adjustable camber arms on an otherwise stock car.

LOL… no such thing as a perfect even tire wear.. ask a good wheel alignment shop.

Exactly.. They have great prices and selections on Amazon. Upper control adjustable control arm kits for all types of vehicles.. look it up.

I had my wheels aligned at Tesla. I don't think they did anything. Still had tire wear and felt no difference, except my wallet was a little lighter.
