Finally got mine back from Spectrum up here. He was having some issues getting into his new garage, so took longer than expected.

Cameron's a great guy, and did a fantastic job. Ended up doing Satin Black, with Vintage Copper accents...

Don't think that hasn't crossed my mind. There doesn't seem to be any cracks for dip to get into the internals. I say go for it. I love mine the way it is. Piano black. I can see someone doing it to make it waterproof. Boaters, fisherman.

I know a few people have for exactly that reason and it still works fine.

I like the small size of our key fobs, put it in tesla provided case make it bulky.
I can dip it to match the car color.
