That's right !
The iPhone charging cable for Model 3 !
Now I just need the car to go with it !
Click bait....how dare you suh!
iPhone, rotary phone... as long as my Android connects all is good!
joke's on you teg. When the iPhone 10 Anniversary edition comes out, it will have a special M3 wavelength connection which is all over air.
And yet? Apple will change the cord again before your car arrives. My empathy.
How do you know that these won't simply come with the Model 3 already?
You're a mean one, Mr. TEG!
Nothing wrong with having a spare. Looks like a generally useful cable to have anyways.
Besides, I just wanted to get a package from Tesla.
It was excellent clickbait.
But wait, isn't that a usb-lightning cable? Why on earth would anyone buy one from Tesla when you can get 3 for $10 on amazon and there's a bin of them at just about every retail checkout?
Do you actually need to charge your iPhone often enough to need a car charger anymore?
When I first switched over to smartphones I had a droid charge (ironically named) with such crappy battery life that I pretty well left it on a charger all day. The iPhone I charge at night and usually I don't ever see it drop below 50%.
Trolling by a moderator.... hahahahaha
I was wondering about ordering one of those - is it Apple certified.
Just looking on Amazon, the price is about right, so may as well get the Tesla one
It looks like it is designed to fit the drop in tray so I expect the L shaped connector fits into some clip so that it is easy to push the phone in/out.
Some generic cable probably doesn't fit the tray correctly.
Now that I own the cable, they should bump up my order priority, right ?
That'll be a $100 option.
Pocket post. Was reading this thread then put phone in my pocket and that's what my pocket decided was relevant...
Do you know if the charging cable for the Model 3 (USB C) will work in the Model S/X?
What was the cost to change to another cable color that isn't black?
you won't care... Because you actually won't see the cable.
