Thank you so much for your input in this forum. Greatly appreciate it!

I am hoping to take deliver of a used 2015 Model S P85D at the Fremont, CA facilities next week. Couple of questions:

1. Are there anything that you would recommend in terms of what I should look for, to make sure that the car is ok?

2. This particular car has some scratches on the corner of the front bumper, and a small "hole" on the black "nose" or front grille. Do you think I can get Tesla to fix them for free? Or any general advice there?

Many thanks!

I almost took delivery of this one a couple weeks ago! What price did you end up buying it for?

Thanks in advance for any input you may have on a different subject. Every Tesla service employee has a different answer....How often can I use a super charger without degrading my battery? I only drive about 11,000 miles a year. Also, is there a "battery" expert owners can talk to?
Thanks again

If you only drive 11,000 miles a year, and if like most people, maybe 3,000 miles of that tops is supercharged, I'd say don't worry about it.
I've put 40k miles on my Tesla in 2 years, and about 50% of that is supercharger based, and I've only lost 2 miles of range.

Then again, if you have an early 90 pack, I'd avoid supercharging unless totally necessary.

What constitues “early”? I have Feb 2017 90 D.
Very long thread, but I've actually read all 99 pages so I'll give you the TL;DR: The early 90 packs were most susceptible to degradation from excessive DC fast charging.

Here's another broad article about it, but doesn't really mention that everyone more or less sorted out that the early 90 packs were more prone to this issue compared to the others.

If you have a 2017 build you're probably OK. Most of the problems seem to be from cars built mid-2016 and before.

No evidence it even harms the battery. We can't think of Tesla Actually some anecdotal evidence shows it may help the battery. But you're asking the wrong person, the OP is a delivery specialist, not a service advisor and therefore not as well trained/versed in the technical aspects of the car.

Tesla battery data shows path to over 500,000 miles on a single pack

frequent Supercharging (twice a week to daily) appears to actually be beneficial in preventing battery degradation.

What does it mean when I paid for the cpo car 4 days ago. They canceled my pick up day for Saturday, told me it be Tuesday. It’s tuesday and no one called or emailed me. My emails asking for confirmation were ignored and I’m already paying interest on my loan.
...and I’ve never seen the car.
Any thoughts

You should call never email.. I learned the hard way after countless unreplied emails over 8 months of ownership. Tesla makes great cars but their customer service leaves a lot of be desired.

I am here for your honest questions. I no longer work for the company and am happy to provide insights.

I have had a series of disappointing issues with delivery.. No response from my DSA for days, delivery canceled and
no one is returning my calls and e-mails.. I am out tens of thousands of dollars and no car.. Wouldn’t you agree that someone should be responding, swamped or not?? Is there a supervisor that can be reached.. My DSA is in Las Vegas
with delivery in MDR.. They have sucked the excitement out of buying a Tesla...
