I wonder if tonight's results will push them to wrap things up more quickly. The optimist in me thinks this means this pushes the bill towards a less controversial form in order to ensure it gets through without holdups.

Happy if true. Can anyone speak to the reliability of Ari Natter? From a brief look it appears as though he is affiliated with Bloomberg but I don't know who he is.
Interestingly this has a link to the GOP. At page 568/1097 it is confirmed the tax credit is alive (house bill which repeals it is not included by the conference agreement)
So, unless Trump decides to sabotage this agreement, it looks like it's safe. Reason has won. Or maybe I am too optimistic.
Mr Trump is a fan of American jobs, entrepreneurs.
For the future, a "Buy American" credit/ incentive works.
The original build numbers are running out soon for Tesla,
so the credit gives advantage to everyone else.
"Punished for success" would be a good spin.
