Jack with lowered suspension?

So as part of my coilovers, lowered the car ~1". I currently have this jack

XL20 - 2 Ton Extra Low Service Jack

min height of 3.5". I have the low profile reverse logic jack pads (0.75" ish, 18mm) Tesla jack pads for Model S, Model X, Model 3, Model Y

apparently that is not enough to reach under the car AND have the jack pad accessible.

What's the true risk as long as I push on the same place the pad normally would? Or is my only option to either get a jack like this

or buy ramps?

Looks like your jack has a nice rubberized puck already. Mobile service doesn't use the pucks, you don't have to either. Just remember like with any other car to block the wheels.

The main advantage to the pucks, IMO, is just for locating the jack point. As long as you place the jack carefully, it's exactly the same thing. Be sure to check out the master thread for more than you'd ever want to know about jacking up the car...

I have the same problem when trying to use a puck and just stopped using it after i lowered the car, just check that your alignment is good and use a flat jack pad and you're fine!

is this flat enough? it's large (like 4") but does have a small amount of metal poke up. What jack do you use?

The pad looks almost exactly the same as what i have (harbor freight racing jack)

That pad is fine.

Since I'm using Jackpoint jack stands, I need a second jack so I use this one which is super low.

This is the jack I use. My car is lowered 2" and I don't need ramps. Jack can still go up another 1-1.5"

There are also low jacks from Brunnhoelzl which are faster when jacking. Brunnhoelzl Pit Equipment

I use 80 cent version of these. Two tiers of scrap 1”x4” boards, the leading edge of the top one back a couple inches so it’s smoother than rolling straight up onto a single 2”x4”.
