Picked mine up today! So much fun to drive. Had a very minor misaligned panel near the headlight, but I didn't even bother bringing it up. Otherwise looks great.

Congrats! I had an alignment issue at passenger headlight and they fixed it. One of the panels was sticking up from the rest and was taken care of and looks great. You should contact them now while within your 3 day period for due bill issues. 9 months driving and no problems here. Best car I’ve had and enjoy getting in and driving it everyday. Especially appreciate not pumping gas, getting oil changes, tune ups, etc. which dawns on you at some point as the time goes by.

Took Delivery yesterday at the Tampa delivery center, Ordered 5/26. As with everyone I was nervous going into this expecting some paint/trim/build issues but I have to say my car was about as close to flawless as I've seen on here (guess I just got lucky). The "only" issues were a very small rock chip under the passenger mirror likely from transporting (fixed onsite immediately), a squeaky window (fixed immediately), and missing homelink. No matter how hard I fought and showed them the MVPA and order agreement they refused to put homelink on the due bill. They said that they have multiple customers in the same boat and are taking all their info down and having it reviewed by upper management (above the regional manager from what I've been told) and we should have a resolution "soon". I did convince my DA to submit a "customer satisfaction ticket" and give me a screenshot requesting the homelink as it was included when I ordered.

This LR RWD is AMAZING though!! Hold strong anyone who hasn't taken delivery yet, it's so unbelievably worth it on your first drive home!

Picked up WHT/BLK/19. VIN 346XXX, 6/19 build date, no homelink. Got a due bill after some "discussion". 19 wheels were discounted off the MVPA due to the earlier WHT/WHT/aero debacle from 2 weeks ago.

Scheduled Tues delivery at Costa Mesa. They texted me today on Sunday during lunch if I wanted to pick up today. Called them back... Said I wasn't planning on picking up car and was out and about. They offered an Uber to pick me up which is an hour away from Costa Mesa. Call to them back an hour later and took their offer.
Quite disorganized Tesla is.

Delivery process is a mess. Noisy waiting area only 1 bathroom with single stall and a mess. delivery advisor are attaching temp plates and holders to the car as customers inspect the car. The Porter's need to do that before bringing out the car. Only a minor paint issue so I let it pass. And tons and tons of what cars being delivered. Non stop flow of cars even at 4:30.

Asked for homelink advisor objected citing LR RWD discontinued after 3/31. She went to speak to manager and confirmed my order was before 5/31 and apologized. Issued a due bill with no record as with most things Tesla.

The whole delivery is pretty crappy. I've never bought a BMW/Mercedes/Audi but I can't imagine it anything like this. Also bought a $23k Honda 2 months ago delivery was not a mess like this. As for build quality they have a way to go before they match BMW/Audi/Mercedes and Toyota / Honda.

Drove about a hundred miles, supercharged at supercharger charger a mile from house. So far so good! Damn this car is fast.

Totally surreal I have a Tesla now.

I’m sure they were appreciative you came in when you did for delivery. The delivery centers, especially in real estate expensive Calif in big metro areas, simply don’t have long-term storage space for all the cars that get delivered at quarter end. And I’ll bet all those other manufacturers only wish they were delivering as many cars like the Model 3!; sounds like your delivery center was swamped. Was like that for my delivery up here in SF bay area back in September, but things went pretty smoothly and everyone there was working really hard for those last few weeks. Up here in Fremont they had access to some office centers parking lots for their cars. Picked up on a weekend so not sure what they do with the cars during the week.

Glad you’re enjoying your car. I was pretty impressed with the amount of deliveries I saw when we picked up mine. Sounds like demand hasn’t slacked off. I see more and more Teslas and especially Model 3s each month driving around town.

About had a panic attack when I read some one's post that rear wheel drive for LR 3 models had been put on hold. Then found another post which stated they had brought the M3 rear wheel drive back into production, at first of this year. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Sales person said 4 weeks, but I knew better then that. I wanted rear wheel drive only for the simple reason it was cheaper, and I believe the more you put on vehicle, the more can go wrong. I have X drive on a BMW540. I'm not knocking 4 wheel electric drive, I can get by without it. This being my first Tesla, I also passed on the self driving auto pilot feature. I saw a YOUTUBE from another Tesla owner who passed on it after a trial period. He discovered that in passing big trucks, the car centered on his passing lane, putting him closer to the big rig on his right side. I'm like him...I pull more over to the left to avoid a truck drifting against me. Maybe somewhere down the road. when I become familiar with driving a Telsa, and the feature is performing more, I can add it. But, for six thousand more, I will sit back and let others tell me if it's worth it.

Adviser just called, he is offering me an AWD instead of the LR that I ordered back in 5/24.
They are giving me a discount for the AWD but, there are no blue/white available either!
Grrr!!
Decisions!!
Check this site out. There multiple blue white AWD in stock around the country you can probably drive and pick it up for get it delivered

how much of a discount? there is one close that is my exact config, but it is AWD. sent it to my advisor, but she said she couldn't discount it

Around 3k, basically he said that Tesla screwed up and that they were willing to give me the AWD with premium interiors and 19" wheels for the price of the RWD that I ordered.
I'm not excited about the other colors, I really want the blue M3.
I'll stop-by the dealer tomorrow and see what my options are, but the end of the month is getting here fast!

Took delivery today. Nervous as well not knowing what to expect on quality. Surprising body paint and panel's we good (few minor imperfection but not enough to be concerned about). However, both glass panels on the passengers side will need to be replaced due to a few scratches in the middle of the pane. The roof has some minor scratches along the edge that they thought could be buffed out...? Had a hard time with getting homelink but in the end said they would installed. Had to go up the manager chain for approval. Love the car!

that's pretty good though if you don't care about the 15 miles of range loss. so 2 grand for another 5 of added value? sounds good to me

OMG that's a great deal for an AWD.. The cost difference is only 4k between RWD and AWD, but they are discounting 3k for you... And if they throw in $1.5k wheels you're basically ahead by $0.5k... if you can stomach the different color and 15mi range difference.

Hi all - I just wanted to let you all know I picked mine (AWD version) up yesterday and there were zero issues with the car - pristine. Also, the "delivery" experience was like no other "dealership" - Pleasantries, Inspection, 10 minutes of tutorial, sign three pages, transfer money, drive away (less than 30 minutes total). No "upselling" or other "Finance department" BS. In fact, the only person I saw was the delivery specialist. May your experience be similar!

My first Tesla was like this (I got a RWD P85 in 2017) I showed up to pick it up and they had it parked out front they just gave me the keys and asked if I needed anything and they were like, come back in when you're ready to depart and we'll have a thing for you to sign and you're all set.

So different, in a pleasing way, than traditional dealers.
