Great job, LoLRick - I went through all my iPhoto records plus my iPhone and couldn't re-locate those shots. But the other peoples' stories also are really, really impressive. Some of you would make great Alaskans (and don't think that's necessarily a compliment....

I've got a sorta-kinda shot of the diesel run. It includes most of the 5-gallon containers, but you can't see the two 15-gallon black containers that were in the rear foot well. Please don't try this at home, or anywhere else. My wife Jenny hasn't forgiven me yet, and it's been 18 months. Pix in a few weeks when we're back in DSL-landia.

I had 8 car tires in mine plus luggage for myself and my son for a weekend away at a hockey tournament.

I am, of course, impressed, but also puzzled as to why one would need 8 tires at a hockey tournament unless they were to be pucks for Paul Bunyan.

This is a great. Reminds me of the fact that in 2-1/2 years of Model S ownership and 43,000 miles, I've only used the frunk once. I keep forgetting that its there. I often cargo-out the interior by folding down the rear seats. I've moved complete art exhibitions in the back. I'm a skier and a cyclist, and the Model S makes carrying gear on roof completely unnecessary.

Oh. So THAT's where the parcel shelf fits when it's not shelf-ing. A year and a half and I never tried it there.

There was a YouTube video a while back where someone compared cargo capacity of the S with a Mercedes wagon by filling both to the gills, wish I could find it again, the S held a lot more!

I used to have an Acura RDX compact SUV and the MS holds about 25% more AND I can get two people in the car. Couldn't do that with the RDX.

Yeah! I have since cut the fabric that prevents the parcel shelf from folding over itself flat and sealed the resultant gaps imply using a strip of iron on fabric seam sealer. Makes the shelf much easier to stow under things when you need the space.
