Saying the ones that are lr awd upgraded?
A LR-AWD upgraded to a P3D- is a P3D-. In every way. All Ps get track mode.

Did you do that after purchase or was it one of the “existing inventory”?A LR-AWD upgraded to a P3D- is a P3D-. In every way. All Ps get track mode.
If you were responding to me, mine was inventory. As far as I know, they have yet to offer any P3D- upgrade to any LR AWD... even if it is technically possible. [insert debate]Did you do that after purchase or was it one of the “existing inventory”?

And the one to be most jealous of- AWD car ordered from factory, P3D- software came on car at delivery despite no underline badge and the window sticker (and amount paid) matching AWD.
Isn't that similar to a few postings here about getting premium service (eg, EAP/FSD) at delivery, and then that service goes away sometime later, without warning. There's a very long thread here about an owner who got (but did not pay for) EAP and used it for nine months. And then one day... poof!
So, if you got one of the P cars but didn't pay for it, it might disappear.
Right. I should have clarified that I just meant that no one has ordered a LR AWD then requested and gotten a P3D- upgrade to their LR AWD... in response to @Judders question.AFAIK all of the following HAVE happened:
P3D- orderable from factory as such and delivered that way (last year)
P3D- ordered as above, but delivered car was AWD, when buyer pointed it out it was software flashed on the spot to P3D- no hardware change
P3D- bought from inventory (this year) but at delivery was actually AWD- software flash to P3D- came OTA a day or two later, again no HW change.

Thanks man that was a long thread to go through! If they ever do allow a update to it, which it appears they have flashed awds ordered with it that didn’t have it on driver on the spot, they can rob me of my money cuz I’ll gladly pay for itRight. Newbie question :
How can you know for sure if your AWD is stealth? Is there a vin hack, or sw check of sorts?
1. They make more if you trade your vehicle in for it and a lot of people actually did.
2. They would loose money and sales of the real performance model if they offered everyone an easy upgrade for $2000 and the full performance model likely has a much higher margin.
FYI there were five or six stealths in inventory when I spoke to the delivery specialist in Tampa. She didn't say that they were on hand, but were nearby or in the region and available. All red with one blue. Anna is her name if you want to call over there. Tell her I sent you!! (Seneca)
I think my post earlier in this thread was missed. Has anyone attempted a 162 mph run in their M3P-?
The issue with this is our car's reported limit in the software updates is stated to be 162 mph, and Tesla will not give us spoilers since we don't have PUP.When Bjorn was testing his P3D+ he had a lower limit than that until Tesla installed the spoiler, at which time they upped the maximum speed. So I would assume the P3D- is limited to 140 MPH.
