Well, today just continues to go down hill. First I find out that the 16th was not a real date, and they are saying the 26th. And now my VIN no longer shows up on the website.......

Good times.
From what a Tesla rep explained to me this morning when I brought that up is that the VIN shows on the website "until" a delivery date is scheduled. Then it will disappear until the delivery date is within 5 days in which it will populate on account again. Your MVPA will show the VIN still.

ordered 11/28. assigned date 12/17 two days ago. got vin today. no contact from adviser. hopeful. raleigh, nc.

any idea if using my bank financing is any more risky in closing than using tesla financing ?[/QUOTE

You should use the financing that gives you the best rate and don’t forget to check your credit unions. They should be much more competitive than the banks.

Agreed, they are trying to string us along so we dont bail because its becoming obvious they wont meet the dec 31 deadline.

I personally don't think they are stringing you along... its kinda like juggling. The more pins you add the more likely you are to drop pins. I love Tesla but I hate how they do this to themselves, making the bulk of their deliveries during a short duration. The *bugs* happening with automated Texts and weird rescheduling and VIN issues seems like they are scrambling and doing their best to keep up with the fire hose.

I need to change the payment type from cash to loan and called 888 number. Agent Chris says he cannot change it and that a DA can change it, but there is no DA or VIN assigned for my order.

Did anyone use backdoor edit URL to make the change? My edit button is long gone when I changed the payment from loan to cash few days ago.

I received a text from a DA in Las Vegas to upload my insurance information, even though I already did. The Tesla website was down so I ended up emailing my insurance information to the DA. My scheduled delivery date is 12/14 between 6pm and 8pm, but I requested a delivery center pickup option. I am waiting back on my request. I do see a VIN number on my account page, but I don't see a MVPA. When will get this agreement? My credit union needs this document to fund my loan.

I believe the latest you will receive the MVPA is 24-48 hours prior to delivery, however I received mine a week ago for a revised delivery of this Saturday 12/15.

Delivery scheduled for this Saturday. I've been assigned a VIN and the location is claiming that the vehicle is on the ground at their center. The delivery was previously scheduled for this Thursday, but I chose to push it back because of convenience. Hoping for no delays and no issues with the car. They've had the car for some time so if there were any cosmetic issues they most likely would have let me know by now, right?

Received VIN today and a call from my IDA notifying me of my delivery appointment that has been in my account since Sunday. MVPA also appeared and looks accurate! Overall I can’t complain! Noticed that the MVPA shows the date of my $2500 deposit as the order date despite multiple revisions modification emails I received from Tesla when they were fixing my order configuration.

My delivery has been scheduled for tomorrow, 8am. After numerous call and emails, they were finally able to upload my MVPA around 2pm today. That left me about 3 hours to open an account, do all the paperwork, and secure loan with my CU, which is about 2 hrs of driving away from my home.
Still can't believe I went from messed up Tesla account -- sounded like they ignored all my changes after initial application for a loan with them -- to being ready for delivery, all within a day, but apparently it's possible :)

Just keep bugging your IDA(s) until they do complete their part, especially if you feel you're running late with your financing.

That's pretty much my experience. Once delivery was near they fixed issues very, very quickly and suddenly became very competent. It gives me hope that they can eventually fix all the CS issues for future customers.

I can't even sleep I'm so excited about this car coming in 9 or so hours!

The horror story we have been reading on here just happened to me as well.

- I received the text last week saying to expect delivery between 12/9 - 12/15. Then on Sunday my delivery appointment appeared on my account as the morning of December 13th.
- I called the delivery center to ask to have the delivery in the afternoon instead. They said they would tell my delivery advisor to contact me to do this and that he/she would be in touch soon.
- Today it was 24 hours until my delivery appointment so I called customer service to ask why I still didn't have the contract or the VIN showing up on my account and why the delivery advisor hasn't contacted me yet. They informed me that there was no car matched to me in the area yet and that this delivery date shouldn't have been assigned.

I ordered on 10/22 Black/Black no EAP 18' aero standard build and now I am getting concerned that the delivery promised before the end of the year might not actually happen even though I ordered almost 2 months ago and live in the same state as the Tesla factory (I am located in Los Angeles).

Finally picked up the car. MR, black on black, on Monday. When they brought me to the car to go over everything, it was filthy. Dirt on the outside, under the door handles, inside had marks. I asked them to clean it up after we did the walk through. They brought it to get cleaned quick, brought it back to me, still filthy. I was waiting there for hours to get out with the car, so I decided to just go.

Contacted the Sr. Delivery Specialist that I was working with, sent her pictures, and she said it was unacceptable what they gave me. She said management should be contacting me regarding it, so no idea what they will do, but we will see.
