Just got an email with a link that had me confirm my availability for delivery over the period of about a week. Anybody else get this?

I want the car, but it's more like a 'meh' kind of want. It's more like, this car is the best choice out there in a not so crowded field. Anyhow, won't lose the $2,500...search threads out there. They are giving refunds if you cancel when no vin is assigned. Even if they don't, I'll just show up to my appointment and request to return the car without taking delivery. It'll be well within the 3 day return policy Elon is touting. If you really want the car why cancel? You are going to lose the 2500 for ordering... might as well ride it out and see what happens the 1st of the new year. If Tesla doesn't compensate for the difference in Tax credit somehow... then cancel.

that looks awesome!
Hang on my friend .. fingers crossed for you ..New delivery date 12/21 "Due to unforeseen delivery issues". Strike 2. Happy for those who received their cars. That said my patience is wearing thin. I get it they have never mass produced a car before, but they have a long way to go with customer service.
Could be but they should be able to contact us and give us updates that's all I'm looking for. I know they gave my car awayhey the unforseen issue may be a semi that rolled with a load of tesla's on board. be glad they're jumping to find replacements for anyone affected.
my experiences with tesla service have been great, it seems mostly the bad experiences that get threads about it. and there are some sure, every mfg has issues. but they've fixed a door handle and 12v battery in my driveway. no other mfg ever fixed anything in my driveway. (it felt eerie to see someone finish a job in under 12 hours and consume no beer in the process. that seemed really strange to me.)
Very well could have been. All I'm saying is communicate and be transparent. We should not have to harass them for paper work etc. Once the decision was made order in December we will guarantee delivery they should have anticipated the crunch of activity. Hire some temps , have a operating system between local DS and the central DAs. If I was communicated with I would have no issue.hey the unforseen issue may be a semi that rolled with a load of tesla's on board. be glad they're jumping to find replacements for anyone affected.
