I would like your opinion on if I should pursue this issue further. I ordered my M3LR online using my brother in law's code for free supercharging. The order form appeared to accept the code fine. When my order came though it did not say anything about supercharging (free or otherwise) so when the delivery specialist called me I asked her to confirm that free supercharging was included. She said yes it appeared to be and if there was any issue to address it when I picked up the car. When I picked up the car I again asked about free supercharging and they said yes it should be included, check to be sure that your $ go to 0 after you are finished Supercharging, if there is any issue file a support case and they will clear it up. So when I Supercharged they charged the credit card I used for my deposit and it never $0 off. Then I filed a support case and after several back and forth they tell me no, that free Supercharging was only for Performance editions. This was the first time I had heard that it was only for Performance edition. I told them that when I purchased the car, my understanding which had been confirmed by 2 different Tesla people was that they car included free Supercharging. I feel they are not honoring the terms of our agreement, and had I known free Supercharging wasn't included it may have affected my purchase decision.

Should I continue to pursue this with Tesla, maybe with the NCDS, or let it go?

...let it go?

It's a problem with most if not all salespeople and not just with Tesla only.

Salespeople can verbally say anything but if it's not written down anywhere, it's almost impossible to hold their verbal promises unless you've got a good proof and good lawyers.

I would let it go because I don't have the energy and resources to change the ethics of salespeople for a better society.

When I bought my M3, I used a friend's code that got me 1k supercharging free.. I referred someone during May and got the 5k free. its all in my loot box, BUTTTTT after each session of charging, it doesn't say $0. It gives a price but i'm never actually charged for it. Just an FYI that my screen has never said $0.

If you're talking about lifetime free Supercharging, then let it go, because it's never existed for non-P. If you're talking about the 1000 miles free from using someone's referral code and you properly entered the referral code when you placed the order, then you should follow-up.
I thought you had to use their referral link to start the order (which itself leads to lots of confusion and unhappiness with referrals not being used), rather than entering the code someplace? Did they change how it works?

First post from a few month lurker.

I got the 5000mi free from a colleague who referred me. Didn’t show up anywhere on my paperwork, and didn’t immediately show up in the app, but after a week or two it was there. My car shows an amount while charging, but if I login to the website, the $ amounts are all 0.

I actually got Model 3 Performance last year and this was one of another reason I went with performance edition instead of LR because Supercharging is free until I own the vehicle.

Another huge reason for me to get performance was the 0-60.. But I would suggest you to just enjoy the vehicle either way Tesla cars are nice in every way.

Most of the sales rep are not always accurate. My uncle just got a Standard Plus model 3 and he was told with Regen braking he can probably get 280 miles off IT LOL..

I told him that will not be the case..
