I’ll buy one in December when it’s a 2025 model year and Tesla is giving incentives to move them before the end of the year.

Plus I’ll still get the tax credit before any mineral or sourcing requirements change for calendar year 2025 (not sure if that will affect the Panasonic batteries in this trim or not).

Plus that will be before any attempt at repealing the IRA starting Jan 2025 should US politics change

The car featured in the Autotrader video had staggered wheels, with 19s in the front and the 20s in the rear. But there's no mention of this in the description on Tesla's site.

The BMW X3 M runs neck and neck with a BMW M3. I am sure there are other examples. The fact that a cyberbeast truck might run faster 0-60 than some versions of a 911 does not mean that there is an issue with 911s.

Not that I am saying a model 3 performance is a 911 but this argument is super, duper, hyper strange.

Is the tax credit shaved off MSRP at time of order, or do you receive a tax rebate at tax time?

You can do either, there's not much good reason NOT to take it at point of sale though (plus doing that removes the need to have $7500 in tax liability when you file)

Jason Cammissa mentioned in his podcast that he got 2.90 to 60 with a passenger.

He also mentioned it delivers more torque for longer (ie at higher speeds) which is arguably more important.

I'm struggling to believe that the UK/EU variants are going to achieve 2.9s 0-60mph. Same goes for the claim that it's the "most powerful Model 3 ever". The US variants will be faster than before with the Panasonic battery and 4D2 motor.

Rollout or not the auto trader video mentions there’s no launch control that is just when you mash the accelerator. That’s interesting
