Will post pics next Fri:

Tint: 30% Xpel XR+ 99% UV 95% IR rejection on all glass (80% on windshield) it gets well over 100 F where I’ll be parking this black car in the summer.

PPF: Xpel Ultimate+ clear gloss on all painted surfaces/lights

Coating: Xpel fusion+ ceramic on top of PPF

Tesla black paint has been notoriously chippy, the PPF should mitigate most of it, the coating seals the deal and acts like a shiny armored shell, also cuts wash/buff time down significantly. I’m aware it’s overkill, but I also have a 50 pack of costco microfiber towels in my trunk at all times for fingerprints and the like. A standard clear bra PPF on nose/hood wheel well should cover like most chip zones.
Is white paint also known to be chippy? I’m trying to decide if I should get ceramic coating.

Ugg Edd update from 3/1 - 3/15 to 3/23 - 3/31. I give up checking, Guess white interior with Nova combo pushing this out?
My EDD was updated this morning as well to 3/23 - 3/31. AWD/Grey Int./White/Nova Wheels. Order Date 1/10/24. I am also in So Cal. Looks like we are just waiting for a press release or some announcement that they are having supply chain issues with white interior. I wonder how much longer they will string this along without giving some type of news about this. I really like Tesla, and have been very happy with my current one. I just do not understand why they are not saying anything about this obvious issue with the white interior. I hope they get it resolved soon.

How much did the ppf and ceramic cost you?

So sorry to see white interior still being delayed. But they do remain within the March 31 deadline. Let us all stay positive and manifest a positive outcome for all of us with LR and white. I bet Tesla is trying hard to solve whatever the problem is. Let’s contribute with our trust and positive vibe. We will receive our deliveries by March 31st. That’s my mantra these days. 🙏🏽

I can't imagine them doing a press release, Tweeting, etc anything that acknowledges "supply chain issues". If they did, it would certainly hurt the stock price. But I do agree, it *would* be nice to get some information provided, but it just isn't the Tesla way. Same boat @ hoping it gets resolved and start cranking those vehicles out!!
I will also say I'm confused why the White Interior does seem to be a problem. It's not like it's the first time they've done a White Interior. It's not the first time they've done Ventilated Seats (in white), it kinda feels to me there isn't anything groundbreaking with it.

Finally got my second update. OD: 1/11, AWD/Grey/Black/Photon NJ.
EDD 1: March 1-31
EDD 2: March 12-31.

Low key hilarious that they waited until the day the first EDD expired to finally deem me worthy of literally any update.

Also annoying because it confirms I’ll have to redo my credit application. Whatever an update is an update at least!
When did you first submit your credit application?

Wow! I ordered a bit late after FSD transfer offer on Feb 9 for a M3 highland LR.

First estimate was March-April, so I was hopeful. But within a week or so, it moved to April-May, so I was depressed.

As soon as we moved to March, the delivery changed to - much more specific March 20-31 window. Looks like they will try to make it before the end of the month! That would be nice. No VIN, but I am more hopeful.
