Model 3 Reservation Deposit

The cost of a reservation is approximately $1,000 USD. Please see the table below for the amount in your local currency. Note that the reservation payment is fully refundable if you cancel your reservation. If you wish, you can apply your reservation payment toward a new Model S or Model X at any time.

By placing a deposit you agree to the Model 3 reservation agreement.

Considering the deposit is fully refundable, I'm sure you could apply it to a Chevy Bolt if you really wanted to

Slightly worried made 2 deposits for myself and brother on the same card did his second. I haven't got a confirmation email but he has. Gonna give it till Monday before i call as I know the guys at Lawrence are busy. Anyone else not get their email right away?

Put down my deposit (I was maybe 20th in line in Toronto) and I got my confirmation email within 2 minutes. I think Tesla's servers got overloaded about 2 hours into the game on Thursday and they're still playing catch up.

I hope the loonie improves between now and 2018 but at least I have a ton of $$ saved up for the car along with the much better Ontario EVIP rebates. Should be able to order the car fairly loaded.

I didn't get home until after the reveal event started. So I'm well after 115K in line. I don't expect to get a car until 2019. Oh well, can save up for more options. Hope my current car survives that long.

I decided to go to the Toronto Lawrence store and put down a deposit for a Model 3 at 6PM on the 31st, so I am likely somewhere in the first 80000 or so reservations. I know I could have done it online, but I figured why not, the sooner I have the option to purchase the better. My wife loves a big car, so her S is likely to stay, but I love my Smart ED, might just hand that to my son...decisions...

I noticed that the deposit amount was charged in USD, converting to $1332? Did this happen to anyone else, as it was supposed to be $1000 cad?
