I got my VIN today. Picking up in Paramus. EDD 11/27-12/3. How did they notify you to schedule the delivery? Did you just go to your account page and see an option to schedule or did you get a call?

Congrats! you will get a text to schedule your delivery. When was your OD again? I remembered yours was almost same with me. Havent gotten mine yet.

Why are you guys fearful? if that ev bill passes you may qualify for a pos rebate and your purchase prices are already locked in. but you get nothing if you take delivery in December.

Exactly my thought, if you take delivery in December it would be like throwing $7,500 in the trash. But for the Point Of Sale, right now they are saying that wouldn’t happen until 2023, for 2022 you’d get it back when filing your 2022 taxes.

And even if it does come to fruition I’ll just trade in my 2022 model 3 for a model Y. The trade in credit on these are insane right now and I can just use the ev credit to offset the additional cost for the upgrade.

Or you just change your W4 in 2022 and decrease your federal withholding and get the $8,000 back in 2022 spread over all paychecks. Never send the gov't more money than you owe

Nice. Where are you located? I’m in NY and ordered a couple weeks before you. Hopefully getting VIN soon.

I'm in PA, on the NJ border. Delivery moved out to Nov 24th now. Made final payment and Tesla confirmed delivery day so I'm thinking Nov 24th is real. We'll see. Good luck to you!

Hello all, just some tidbit info from me:

My EDD is 11/28-12/30 and hasn’t changed since Oct order. I called Tesla a couple days ago and the SA stated that they are doing well with delivery and expect mid to late December.

On a second note I just test drove a LR yesterday here in Vienna. I liked the car but man was there a lot of road noise and wind noise. It does handle extremely well and it’s very fast. I think whatever tires on there are really exaggerating cabin noise.

That said the SA at the store says they expect mid to late December as well.
