Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I took delivery of the Model 3 Long Range today. The car is in excellent condition with no panel gap issues. It's not a LFP battery. The charging screen shows only charge beyond 90% for trips. Currently, the battery is at 68% with an estimated range of 240. If you divide 240 by 0.68, that should be an estimated range of 353. I recognize this approach is not perfect.

This range seems to be similar to the prior version. The service advisor (when I called in) indicated this was a LG (non LFP) battery. He also said the car does not have HW4 and my build date was 5/25/2023.

Problem is, when I am checking the VIN I can’t find it, neither my insurer.
P.S. China battery is made by LG. And BTW the VIN in the source code is the VIN of the car indeed.

I actually cancelled my order on the LR. Tesla shaved off more than $2400 off a Standard range M3 for me so I switched my order to that. Deal was too good to pass up.

If Fremont factory has already changed to HW4.0, when they will put this on Model 3 ?

Not that it's particularly groundbreaking or surprising, but my EDD just shifted out one day for the first time in a while to today through 6/11. I'm ready to get off this 4 month rollercoaster.

Was thinking the same thing- it might be time for a change. Literally just got back from test driving a Y, though I am still sticking with the 3. I liked it well enough- but not enough. At least the Associate in the store was honest about deliveries- said "we don't know any more than you do". So with that I assume my 6/1-6/29 dates are still written in pencil...

There is always a thing one can do. But... I am not sure the price will be the same. As for myself, I changed from a RWD to a LR two weeks ago and I stick with my choice. I hope I can get it at the end of the next week.

Nice! Order date clearly does not impact VIN assignment in the slightest.

Black/black/aero. It might be coincidence, but I noticed a couple folks who ordered red reported VIN assignments pretty early.

Probably true about Red delivering sooner because I recently switch from Red/White/Aero to Blue/White/Aero, so delivering sooner would just be my luck.

For those who've taken delivery already, can you confirm if you've noticed any other changes (presuming you have experience with previous Teslas)?. Just want to make sure we are still getting matrix headlights for example. Also curious what kind of tires they are using now

Ordered my T3 LR black , got option of white LR with -2500, took the white, delivery date assigned to 13. Got VIN but says invalid on insurance. What do I do? Thanks

It probably means that Tesla has given the frame a VIN, but it hasn't been reported to whatever system the insurance companies use.

My EDD updated to today through 6/17. Come on now. Just get it over with and tell me July already.

They will do everything they can to get your sale completed by the end of the quarter. Even if that means delivery on June 30, 2023, at 11 PM

My dates shifted from 6/1- 6/29 to 6/12-6/26.

We'll see.
