Yep, nice catch. Red is $2000 down from 2500, and all other colors are $1000 now.

? When I bought my car in July I paid $1,000 for Blue (just double checked). Did they go up after that and back down now?

The price drop also affects Model Y preorder paint prices. But Model S and X are still $2500 and $1500 it looks like.

I’m pretty sure that’s the case. Tesla pricing is quite a roller coaster.

But didnt the base price of the cars recently go up $500? I remember reading that (and not talking about the October price increase, talking about one just a couple of weeks ago or less). If so, then the pricing is net neutral, unless one is getting white... with white cars being $500 more, and every other color being the same as it was.

Not sure, but red was definitely $2,500 sometime this month...I was building and skipped it because that seemed pretty steep to me for paint...

When I was ordering End of Sept., 2019, I recall all but white being $1000 extra. White not extra. Sales individual at Topanga showroom said until just before I ordered, black was the no-cost color. I wanted a light colored car, which meant only white.
