Model 3 Performance (Canada) Waiting Room

Yeah adds little value in selling this for newer one
It’s been flawless for me as well.
I’ve done my upgrades: full body ppf, oem spoiler, painted black calipers, 20% tint all around, carbon fibre int dash/doors, 20” gunmetal V1 perf rims/tires, gun metal decals

I only feel like I want MORE. Lol. I’ve gotten used to this car now even though I smile every time I drive it :)

Canadian VIN’s have not started yet. Of course deliveries haven’t started yet either.

So watching the progress over the 530 USA waiting room pages of changing EDD’s, strategy plays, cancel and re-orders, I’m not sure which would have been better.
Knowing what Canadians will be in for fairly soon, or an ignorance is bliss viewpoint, and never having seen this thread… ;)

Not sure if this is relevant to the current supply chain issues…but in the last few weeks there has been a significant cost increase to containers coming to Canada from China (roughly 2.5 times the usual amount of money)…probably driven by increased demand for imports into North America…at least from certain Chinese ports. Could be that Tesla is holding off for cheaper cross-ocean freight?
I’m probably grasping at straws since nothing about the extended wait times makes sense since Tesla’s production numbers are in the toilet YOY.

I'm assuming RWD/LR versions of the model 3 (and model Y?) are also produced in the Shanghai factory.

If so, I have seen several Highland refresh model 3s in Vancouver, so shipments are being made already.

Not sure why the logistics would be different for the performance version.

Looks like we'll be getting the U.S model
Hopefully not, build quality is atrocious. Though the Panasonic battery would be nice! It’s also a consulting period, no action at this time.

Again, as mentioned before, would be inplemented after the summer, if anything.

My EDD just moved up from August 17 - September 28 to July 18 - August 22. I've been hoping that the order page estimated delivery of July (which it still says) would hold true, so this update gives me confidence we might actually see Canadian deliveries sometime next month.
Nice!

Saw here that dates changed for another fellow Canadian, and some individuals who responded.

No changes for me. Anyone else seeing changes?

Hoping deliveries start next month as initially advertised 🤞
